Seattle is one of the best cities in America to buy coffee at some of its finest in-house breweries. As you explore different areas of the city, you will find dozens of places to grab a fresh cup of it, including restaurants and cafes that offer mixed blends and gourmet brands, such as hazelnut and apple cinnamon. Most people buy regular brands like Maxwell and Folgers at their local grocery stores without being able to experience some of the unique styles you can find in Seattle and other metropolitan cities. While almost every city has its own coffee house that is popular throughout the community, Seattle is known for having some of the best places that brew its own kinds of beans.

Seattle Coffee Shops

Depending on where you are in Seattle, customers can buy a cup at Fonté Coffee Roasters, River Trail Roasters, Fremont Coffee Company, Herkimer Coffee and more. Whenever you go to one of these shops, you will always find other options on their menu besides coffee, from homemade cappuccinos to lattes and espressos — a more caffeinated and creamier form of hot beverage. These places will also offer breakfast and desserts for customers to enjoy pies, muffins, pastries and cinnamon buns to have with their coffee at indoor dining rooms and outside patios. People often go there in the morning to read the newspaper before work, but it is also a place for visitors to experience the city by picking out a new brand to take home with them.

Fun Activities to Do

There are many fun activities to do in Seattle, and having a cup of coffee at one of their facilities to begin with, will prepare you for the rest of your adventure there. Once you decide what to do in this city, whether it’s to see one of their sporting events, art museums or historic preservation sites, there will always be a place to find coffee throughout the day. But you don’t just want to buy coffee from anywhere; some places aren’t nearly as good as others when it comes to your favorite brand. However, if you go toward one of the general stations where most people buy coffee (especially at fast food restaurants), you will find many other alternatives open along the streets as you travel to different parts of the city that are interesting.

Starbucks Cafe

Seattle is the headquarters of Starbucks, the most famous and widely sold coffee brand in the world, can be found at a store called Pike Place, where it was first established in 1971. Starbucks carries its own specialty blends of coffee, frappuccinos, tea and much more to take with you on your trip. Coffee is very accessible at almost any place you enter, but Starbucks is one of the best choices for those who enjoy a more rich, darker flavour that they can’t find anywhere else. They are often located inside of shopping malls and food courts for people to buy a freshly made cup, offering a variety of different ingredients to put in it. Unlike your average coffee station, where you can only pour cream and sugar in it, adding a touch of cool whip or cocoa to your cup will always be available at a Starbucks stand. Having a cup not only makes your trip to Seattle better, it gives you the chance to be part of its culture, its history and excursion by experiencing the background of what the city represents — some of the world’s best coffee chains.

Conclusion

Seattle is a contemporary city with a strong sense of place. It offers visitors a unique blend of old and new, and is home to some of the world's most iconic landmarks. People of all ages can find something to do in Seattle, from shopping at local stores like Nordstrom or Whole Foods Market to visiting historic areas such as Pioneer Square and Pike Place.
