TELL THE GIRL
Recently I came across a video on Facebook, where a lady brings her children to her mom, saying she's tired of taking care of them and doesn't want them anymore. The situation was chaotic as the lady and her mom were both yelling at each other because the mom refused to accept the children on the grounds that it was wrong of her to do such a thing. the mom further reminded her about how she struggled to train her and her siblings as a single mom and that she was not ready to go through that process again especially for another person's child knowing that their mother is capable of the responsibilities. Despite the mom's efforts to make her daughter take back her children who by the way are no longer toddlers and were standing, helplessly watching as the drama was playing out. I could only imagine the thoughts in their minds seeing and hearing their mom say the things she was saying all because of them. Apparently, their mom is also a single mom and wanted to do away with them just because she met a younger lover who just wants to travel around the world and enjoy life with her and for her, the only thing standing in her way is the children she has to take care of and so she came up with the idea of dumping them for her mother for as long as it takes.

Abilities required for a thriving partnership with your significant other
Intimacy, security, respect, effective communication, and feeling valued are the fundamental components of thriving relationships, according to most individuals, including researchers. Extensive research on romantic relationships has illuminated the attributes of healthy partnerships, with the mentioned qualities being among the key factors. On the flip side, researchers also concur on the characteristics of unhealthy relationships, such as perpetual arguments, an inability to seek support from your partner, contempt, criticism, hostility, and even violence. These problems can lead to significant unhappiness, the dissolution of relationships, and even physical and emotional health issues. Therefore, fostering healthy relationships is of paramount importance.

From missteps to milestones: Conquering mistakes
In general, responses showed that while beginner students sought positive reinforcement, advanced students were more eager for critical feedback. Researchers have theorized a number of explanations for these results--beginner students are still determining if they enjoy learning French and if they want to continue studying, so they might crave praise as a way to stay motivated; on the other hand, the advanced students are already invested, so they may want to improve their skills as efficiently as possible. The process of gaining expertise also comes with its fair share of failure, so advanced students may have built a higher tolerance for making mistakes. But whether you're an expert or novice, it's usually much more straightforward to learn from your successes than your failures. For example, imagine getting your grade back on an exam. If you aced it, you could reasonably assume you made good choices around when, what, and how much to study; in cases like this, it's unclear exactly what went wrong, making it difficult to learn how to improve. Wanting to learn from our failures is completely natural--there's a lot to gain by being resilient and cultivating a growth mindset--but fixating on our failures can make it easy to forget all our successes. And building on what we're doing right can be more effective than focusing on what we did wrong. God sees you not through the lens of your mistakes, but through the lens of His grace. When He looks at you, He sees the finished work of Jesus Christ. Consider this: if they didn't create you, they can't define you. My creator is my mirror. I'm striving to stay as composed as possible. When God revealed to me that my maker is my mirror, I thought of Moses standing before the burning bush. God said, "I will use you. You're the one, despite your conflicted identity and numerous mistakes."

A Break in the Game
Otii was a man in his early thirties with a passion for pool. Tall and lanky, he moved around the table with the grace of a dancer. His eyes would light up whenever he stepped into the dimly lit bar such as Los Angeles Bar in Kitgum Town, the familiar scent of chalk and the sound of balls clinking together welcoming him like an old friend.
