Boom! Clash! (glass breaking). "Not again" Aailecia cried out! She sighed as she picked up little pieces of glass. With every piece she picked up she glanced at her reflection. "Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose?" The smallest things would get her thinking about her life and choices. She has so much family who loves her and she adores them, she does everything she can to keep smiles on there faces. Anytime she needs them they are always there.

She picked up the rest of the glass and threw it away. She walked lightly across from the trash, staring through a decorative square with the very exact thing that reminds her that her reflection is a stranger. She squinted as she stared through the glass, something was out there but all she saw was a faint gold color. She ran to her room, put her coat over her pajamas, grabbed her shoes and ran out the door. "Oh no I forgot the flash light!" As she turned around to head back to the house she became startled by a rustling sound afar. She turned around and their it was two golden brown eyes.

Aailecia was frightened and went into a frozen composure. The moon was high and it was so bright that night yet so cold, dark. She stepped back and fell right onto a brick cutting her leg at that moment she felt her life was over. Everything played through her mind, the memories and what her next journey would be if any. The eyes got closer and closer. All she could do was stare into the eyes. She saw confusion, she saw pain, and she saw herself at that moment she saw it. The most beautiful wolf she ever saw slowly stepped into the light of the moon.

Aailecia felt scared but safe and then she heard howling. The wolf howled also looked at her and proceeded back into the woods. She was confused but she got up and limped into the house to tend her wound. She went to bed thinking about the mysterious wolf but to her surprise everyday for the next 8 months the wolf came and howled in her yard. It only took a few weeks before it was Aailecia routine to go out and join the wolf. She would stand on the porch and after awhile sat outside on the ground upon a unique quilt her grandmother had given her when she was just a child.

One day it was different. Aailecia had come out early to wait and then she saw the wolf limping out the woods before the normal meeting time. "Oh no little wolf!" she exclaimed. She ran into the house and got the emergency safety kit. She ran back outside with a worried look in her eyes, but she slowed down before approaching but then she paused "Now look I am not going to hurt you I just want to help" she explained to the wolf. The wolf stared into her eyes then turned back towards the woods she said "wait where are going". He stood there, then looked back at her and slowly started to limp "so you want me to follow you" she said. So she put fear behind her and followed the wolf into the woods, something she would never do.

After what seemed to be hours of walking he stopped and looked back at her, she looked afar. There was a whole pack of wolves and two pups seemed to be in some kind of caged trap. "You brought me here to help didn't you? Hopefully your wolf friends don't kill me." she laughed nervously. The wolf howled and so did all the rest. Very scared she proceeded to where the pups were trapped, she was very scared but knew even if she was in danger the wolves would be in control of what happened not her so she acted brave saying "Well its nothing I can do to get out this situation and I really want to help the babies, so be brave Aailecia be brave." When she freed the pups all the wolves howled and my little wolf friend approached me. "Hey there, you." The wolf was a mother and Aailecia saw her soul through her eyes, a soul. She sat down on the grown next to the wolf, she had then named The Soul Wolf, and she tended to her wound. "Their you go Soul Wolf all better, get rest."

The wolf looked into her eyes and let out a low howl then bowed her head on her lap. She rubbed the wolf and the pups then she was accompanied by a wolf on her way home as the woods moved together to relocate. When she arrived home she got ready for a shower. She went to the bathroom and she looked into the mirror. "Oh my God no way!" she yelled. Her eyes had changed golden brown and she could see herself without doubt. She understood that her and the soul wolf was one in the same. The wolf saw her soul. They stood alone though they had family that was there. She realized what the wolf realized do what you would not normally do to find who you are, your purpose and with that she realized why she is here. She understood she had a purpose and the gift she was given is to truly see who she was she saw herself in the reflection but this time she said.

"I know what I have to do because I am a lone wolf but I am not alone."
