2020 is a crazy and uncertain year that everyone is currently living through. As a parent, you might be a nervous wreck sending your kids back to school in the midst of a pandemic. This is completely understandable and even a good thing because it means you want what is best for your children and family. Sending your kids back to school can be a frightening event this year because of health concerns. You might be worried that they will accidentally have their masks down at the wrong moment or that the school will not be diligent enough and your child will bring illness back to your family. This is possible but there is no need to fret too much. There are a few things you can do to help ease any axis you may have about sending your kids back to physical school.

Taking Supplements

Taking supplements is an easy and quick way to give you and your children's bodies a fighting chance everyday against any sicknesses. 'Supplements' is a wide blanket term that essentially denotes a powder, pill or gummy you can take orally which has healthy ingredients that act as preventative care. Good supplements like green superfoods powder can act as a battalion inside your body against invading virus armies! Having you and your family members (children included) begin to take supplements as a part of their everyday routine can help bolster your family's health so that you can all stay healthy throughout this stressful time.

Packing Hand Sanitizer

Although many schools probably have hand sanitizing stations placed frequently throughout the school grounds at this point, you can never be too careful. In order to ensure your family's continued health you can pack extra bottles of hand sanitizer in your kids' backpacks. You can then teach your kids when and where to sanitizer their hands throughout the day. If any of your little ones might have extra sensitive skin you can pack a small bottle of lotion in their bag too. Tell them to rub some lotion on their hands when their hands begin to feel a little dry from all of that sanitizing.

Getting Your Laundry Game On

Laundry can be a monotonous task. The methodical washing, drying, folding and putting away become so boring you could practically do them in your sleep. If you have kids, you may actually have! One way to reduce any possible transfer of germs at home is to get your kids to change as soon as they get home and to throw their dirty clothes immediately into the washing machine. Then, have them wash their hands. This is a boring but relatively simple way to reduce your family's chances of getting sick from anything that may have hitched a ride home on your kids' clothes.

Sleeping Well

This tip may seem really simplistic. That may be true, but making sure your family is sleeping well most nights can make a huge difference for their health. There have been scientific studies that say sleeping well is a great way to boost your immune system and stay healthy in general! A lack of sleep can contribute to a declining ability for you or your family members' bodies to fight off anything nasty. Sleep really is a good defense strategy!

Keeping Your Home Clean

Yes, cleaning your house consistently is difficult. There are so many things going on in your life at any given moment. All of these variables can keep you from doing the important and healthful tasks that add up to a cleaner home. An easy way to get in the habit of keeping your home more clean is to keep sanitizing wipes throughout your home and wipe down frequently used areas once a day. Many sanitizing wipes can kill harmful viruses and bacteria with just a swipe! Some places where you could keep these wipes include the kitchen, bathrooms and near doorways. Wiping down your door knobs may seem weird at first but when your family is the only one in the neighborhood without a family member spreading sickness throughout your home, you will be grateful you made that habit stick.

Staying healthy during a pandemic can be a daunting task but it does not have to be! As your kids return to school, follow some of these tips and see how healthy you can keep your family.
