Edwards and his Wife

Gwen was in her last trimester and in another city to prepare to have her baby boy. She was 8 months and has been having contractions which haven’t been too serious where she needs to go to the hospital to deliver. Gwen didn’t want to have her baby in another city but because her pregnancy is a high risk she had no choice but to go. Edward was okay with it because he knew his wife would be with her parents and be taken well care of. He was just worried that he wouldn’t make it to be there for his son's birth, as it means so much to him to be there. Edwards stood behind in the city their home is at so he can work and get bills paid.

A week before Gwen’s induce date, She is in more pain and can barely walk. This pain is in her back and she had to crawl every time she had the pain. She finally told her mom that her contractions are getting worse. Moma was to the rescue and took Gwen to the hospital. As she got there they admitted Gwen and watch her contractions on the monitors. Gwen was getting contractions every 5 mins but they said it wasn’t too strong and that since she is 4 centimeters dilated that they will keep her and see any progress. By the next 6 hours, they decided to send Gwen home because she hasn’t dilated and as they told her 4 centimeters is not active labor. Gwen and Edward were mad because they didn’t want to induce her three days early knowing that she has contractions. See Gwen's high-risk pregnancy has everything to do with her blood problem. Her home city was afraid that Gwen would deliver and hemorrhage so that’s why they sent her to another city to have Baby Boy. Gwen wasn’t having it she wanted to go back home to her city because she felt neglected. She crawled herself from the waiting room to the room they were giving her. The nurse watched this happen and it upset Gwen a lot. So as soon as Gwen got out of the hospital she begged her husband to take her back to her home city. She gave her parents hugs and kisses goodbye so she can go home and have her baby. Gwen was still having contractions and went to see her doctor the next day.

8 am Gwen is up getting ready to go see her doctor at 9. She still having contractions but there is not too much pain as she was having it in her parent's city. Gwen and Edwards see the OBGYN. The OBGYN is surprised to see Gwen back because the Dr did send her to deliver in the other city. Gwen didn’t give the OBGYN the chance to ask questions because she knew what she was going to say. They said nothing is wrong with my blood and watched me crawl in pain to the room. “So I came back home to have my baby here. You are the only doctor I trust and that cares about me.” Gwen said so quickly. The doctor was surprisingly shocked by what Gwen said. The OBGYN checked how far Gwen was dilated and she is still at the beginning of 4 centimeters. She hasn't dilated much. Gwen was sad because she is having contractions and have issues walking. Gwen has to bend over and walk because it doesn’t hurt as much like that. But OBGYN said she has to stay walking straight and that she will get induced the next day. Gwen smiled so big it made Edwards smile. She couldn’t wait to meet her mysterious son because she didn’t know what he looked like. In the ultrasound photos, she wouldn’t let anyone see him. He was her mysterious baby and she was happy with that either way.

5 am next day Gwen got ready to head into the hospital for an induction. Gwen was scared but happy at the same time and Edward was tired and happy that the baby will be arriving today. The morning goes by and Gwen is tired because of the pain she’s been having in her back. These contractions are stronger than ever. She begins to get on her hands and knees because she is in too much pain and her husband walks back into the room after going home to get something to eat and shower. Edward asked if the baby is coming and Gwen yells I feel pressure and am crying in pain. The nurse comes in and says she’s 6 centimeters dilated. In Gwen's mind, she thinking oh my goodness it’s going to be fast delivery. But it wasn’t. The dilation was fast. Next few mins Gwen couldn’t stand the pain anymore she starts to scream it out. The nurse comes in and checks her cervix again. The nurse says Gwen is dilated 9 centimeters, no epidural it is too late. The OBGYN is coming in and three nurses are prepared to help. There was a nurse on the left of Gwen holding her hand and Edward on the right holding Gwen's hand. Gwen is In so much back pain she starts to cry. The nurse and Edward tell Gwen to breathe that it will help. But oh it didn’t help her. They tell Gwen to push and she pushed so many times but the baby kept sliding back in and it didn’t help that Gwen peed on the OBGYN and they decided to get a catheter in because it was a lot of pee. Gwen kept apologizing because she felt so embarrassed and her husband was laughing. So she tried to push one more time and the OBGYN was able to get the baby out with the nurse's help in pressing on Gwen's stomach because she was already tired of pushing. Gwen was torn because the baby’s shoulder got stuck. The baby came out 8lbs. It was that one last scream when she pushes that she couldn’t do it anymore. She got stitched up and went home the next day.

It’s crazy when you bring your baby home you finally be able to rest because at the hospital it was uncomfortable only because nurses kept coming in which you only sleeping every 30 mins. But I’m so happy to be home. I’m also happy we bought cameras for our home because it was pretty weird how things didn’t seem right. Someone took my dog and he didn’t get to return home for 1 week. I cried because why would someone steal your dog? Baby duties await. Goodbye journal.

A few days past and everything seems to go well. The only thing is that Covid is still there and with months passing and snow falling it has been drama-free but Gwen spoke too soon. As she notices Edward's sister and brother-in-law copying what Edward and Gwen have. When they put their cameras up a few weeks later they put up cameras. Edwards has a bow and arrow so they buy a bow and arrow. Edwards got a new truck his wife bought him so they got a new truck. The day Edwards and Gwen pay their rent they want to pay their rent at the same time. Gwen posts photos about her wedding ring and Edward's sister does the same thing. Edwards and Gwen get married in court so they want to do the same thing but they lied to everyone they did. Edward's brother-in-law told the truth about them not real long getting married in court. If Gwen changes her pictures then Edward's sister does the same. Gwen is getting tired of it. She didn’t like the fact that they always copy what they get or do. It’s annoying and getting old.
