Black Widow

It’s incredible how we remember things. This thought alone was the only thought that came to mind when I first remembered. That isolated thought, so significant yet grandiose for any other thought to be acknowledged in my head. Yet again, so insignificant to what the memory it brought was.

They say that when something significant happens, that you can remember every detail about a moment–sometimes even a full day. The smells, the touch, the feelings and how many leaves fell from the tree you stood under. I, personally, don’t believe this is true. However, looking back at the day I remember, I was flabbergasted with the amount of detail I remembered.
