Choosing a preschool for your child is as important as choosing his or her higher education. The preschool curriculum has a significant impact on the brain development of the children. As a result, before enrolling your child in a preschool, you should inquire about the curriculum. The idea of a bilingual education system is gaining traction in India, and parents are emphasising the English language more. As a result, the English enrichment class and assistive technology for preschoolers is becoming increasingly popular here.

Preschool teaches a variety of subjects, including math. One of them is math. Those who understand the concepts will find it fascinating, while those who do not will find it intimidating. Children can be seen using math skills in their daily activities if you pay attention. Most children learn addition and subtraction through their everyday interactions before they start school. The top 5 activities that your child's English preschool in India should organise to help them improve their Math skills are listed below.

1. Number Sense

The concept of understanding numbers, i.e. the ability to count forward and later backward accurately. Even though addition and subtraction are difficult skills for a pre-schooler, they can count the number of objects in a box and thus learn addition. The distinction between more and less is discernible. When a child has four chocolates and is asked to share one with a neighbour, the child immediately recognises that he or she has fewer chocolates than before.

2. Spatial sense

Recognize shapes, sizes, positions, space, direction, and movement. Puzzles are an example of spatial sense. They not only learn shape names, but they can also compare, sort, classify, and draw them. Children learn to group all triangles together in a place where a triangle is drawn, or to put all yellow objects inside a circle where the colour yellow is indicated.

3. Pattern

Patterns are things that repeat themselves logically. Patterns aid in the development of logical and reasoning skills in children. They use patterns to understand and predict what is going to happen next. For example, children will learn to arrange specific items in a repeating pattern, such as arranging red and green objects in the pattern red, green, red, green, etc.

4. Estimation

The ability to quantify the quantity or size of something. It is identifying bigger and smaller, more and less for pre-schoolers, and so on. A child can tell the difference between a large and small ball, as well as more and fewer chocolates.

5. Problem-solving

The ability to think through a problem using prior knowledge and recognise that there are multiple solutions using logical skills. A child will eventually try multiple approaches to achieve the desired result. For example, a child may try to drop a triangle inside all of the holes of various shapes and then check to see where the triangle should be dropped.

Aside from Math, enrolling your child in a preschool has numerous other advantages. Exposure to more than one language will aid in the development of your children's brains. They gain confidence and adaptability. They also learn to value other cultures. Preschool enrichment classes and preschool lesson planner foster an intellectual environment in which math is logical, language is enjoyable, and science is applicable. If you are looking for a bilingual and advanced education system, look no further.
