The Egyptian farmer

The Egyptian farmer deep in the forest

By Ayougou MarouanPublished 8 months ago 3 min read

In the deepest depths of the forest

Thousands of years before the advent of history

He was walking aimlessly

Except for a drink of water

Or a piece of fruit

Or some insects

Finally he found the Nile

He walks majestically with slow steps

Dozens of silver fish fling around in it

And on its sides are palm trees rising,

It reaches the tops of the white clouds

Throw the exhausted body

On the brown clay of the earth

It became his virgin paradise!

The next day he picked up the steel axe

As he descended towards the ground, he kissed it and turned it over.

She exchanged the best of her good things with him

Tons of wheat, sacks of beans,

And types of vegetables

And inside his house

He is going to raise some cows

Cows gave him pure milk,

And warm robes, and grease..

The Egyptian peasant was simple

He plants, reaps, and marries

In the season finale, his children

In the corridors of the temple, he blesses his grandchildren

Possibly the most precious offering to the priests

Committed to prostrating to the Pharaoh

If he passed by his floating convoy

Between the two shores!

The Egyptian farmer remained silent

He does not speak even when words bother him

He is kind and seeks to support the weak

He sits next to the Nile and prays.

In times of drought,

When the flood overflows

And if he was stopped in the court of the dead

I swear that his hands have not polluted the Nile.

I don't throw oat sticks in it!

The Egyptian farmer was an expert

In the secrets of the brown earth

Does he know how to be good?

And when the angry sun scorches it,

So he cracked it?

In what orbit will the full moon spread it?

With light filled with flowers

But the Egyptian farmer was surprised one day

From the scorching summer days...with the Jarrar army

Attacked from the east

The garrison was dispersed without warning

And reach the highest Pharaoh,

Drop him from the strongest tower above the walls

The pharaoh fell,

And silver bracelets, and freshness!

Engraved beliefs were dissipated

In the columns of the temple, and the stones..

But the priests blew on the large censer,

They considered the invader a king, a god, and a descendant of destiny!

The Egyptian farmer returned to his mud house.

He stared at the children without dinner

He saw his wife's gaze looking at him pleadingly

He did not know the taste of sleep, all night long,

And when dawn comes,

He walked towards the brown ground

He shares her complaints and fatigue

It provides what it produces to strangers

Even the yellow spike!

When the night falls

Walk over the beach

And come out from the depths of the soul

The deaf palms of patience!
