11. The Dog and His Reflection

Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, there lived a dog. He was very playful and friendly. One day, while wandering around, he saw his reflection in the nearby pond. He thought it was another dog and began to bark at it. The reflection barked back, and the dog thought it was another dog challenging him. He became angry and wanted to fight with the other dog.

The dog jumped into the pond, but the moment he did so, the reflection vanished. The dog searched for the other dog in the pond but couldn’t find it. Tired and disappointed, he came back to the shore. He then realized that it was just his reflection, and there was no other dog in the pond. He felt ashamed of his behavior and learned a valuable lesson.

Moral of the Story: The moral of the story is that we should not be deceived by appearances. We should look beyond the surface and think before we act. Hasty decisions can sometimes lead to regret.

12. The Boy and the Filberts

Once upon a time, there was a boy who lived in a small village. One day, he was walking through a forest when he came across a tree full of filberts. He was very hungry, and the filberts looked delicious. The boy was excited and started picking the nuts, but they were too high to reach.

The boy decided to shake the tree to get the nuts. He shook it with all his might, and the nuts started to fall. However, he was so focused on the nuts that he didn’t realize he was standing under the tree. A few of the nuts hit him on the head, and he fell down unconscious.

When he woke up, he realized what had happened and regretted his actions. He understood that he should have thought of the consequences of his actions and not been so greedy.

Moral of the Story : The moral of the story is that we should always think before we act. Hasty decisions can lead to regret, and it’s essential to consider the consequences of our actions.

13. The Milkmaid and Her Pail

Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a milkmaid named Lily. She used to go to the market every day to sell the milk she collected from her cows. One day, while going to the market, she was lost in her thoughts and dreaming of the money she would make from selling the milk. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t realize she was walking with a pail of milk on her head.

While walking, she started imagining what she would do with the money she would make. She would buy some eggs from the market and hatch them into chickens, and then sell the chickens for a good price. She continued to daydream and started to walk faster, forgetting the milk pail on her head.

Suddenly, she stumbled and fell, and the milk spilled on the ground. Lily was devastated as she realized that all her dreams were shattered with the spilt milk.

Moral of the Story :“Greed can lead to loss” .We should focus on the present and not worry too much about the future. We should be mindful of our actions and avoid being lost in our thoughts. It’s essential to appreciate what we have and not take things for granted.

14. The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse

Once upon a time, a Town Mouse invited his cousin, the Country Mouse, to visit him. The Country Mouse was thrilled and went to the town to see his cousin. When he arrived, he saw that the Town Mouse lived in a big mansion, had a lot of food to eat, and enjoyed a lavish lifestyle.

However, the Country Mouse found it difficult to enjoy the luxuries of the town, as he was not used to the hustle and bustle and the constant fear of cats. One night, while they were eating, a cat entered the room, and they had to run for their lives.

The Country Mouse realized that the peace and simplicity of his country life were much better than the stress and danger of the town. He decided to go back to his village, and the Town Mouse understood his decision.

Moral of the Story : “Happiness is relative”. it’s better to live a peaceful and simple life than to be constantly worried and stressed. We should be content with what we have and not always be chasing after luxuries.

15. The Lion in Love

Once upon a time, in a dense jungle, there lived a fierce lion. He was known for his strength and bravery, but one day he fell in love with a beautiful lioness. He wanted to impress her and win her heart.

The lion started to behave strangely. He stopped hunting and spent most of his time near the lioness. He would bring her gifts and try to show off his strength and courage. The lioness was not impressed by his behavior and found it amusing.

One day, while they were resting under a tree, a group of hunters came to the jungle. The lioness saw them and warned the lion, but he was so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t pay attention. The hunters captured the lion and took him away.

The lion realized that his obsession with the lioness had caused him to lose his strength and bravery. He understood that true love does not come from showing off or impressing someone. It comes from being strong and courageous and taking care of the people we love.

Moral of the story : “Love can’t be forced“. Love is not just about impressing someone with our actions. It’s about being true to ourselves and taking care of the people we love. We should not let our emotions cloud our judgment and forget who we are.
