In the inexplicable vastness of the ocean, eastward of the Marianas, there is a mysterious, far-off place hidden in only enigmatic and magical predictions—the Mariana Trench. It is where humans go to see, and even touch the reaches of the oceans depth that is unthinkable to them and calls upon their bravery. However, our story starts here. It talks about Mark, an ordinary man who is very in love with everything in the ocean, so he wants to visit the deepest areas.

Mark had been friend with the water since he was a child. About ancient sailors’ and the things mystery saw under the water, her mind was in complete imagination. On his 30th birthday, his friends chose to stimulate his hurt to go diving, and they took care of the organization of diving to the Mariana Trench , which is the greatest place for any ocean lover. They didn't have the slightest idea how daunting and demanding this journey will eventually prove to be.

The expedition was planned for a couple of months prior, and he had done all the preparations such as trainings and underwater breath holding exercises. His heart was bent on diving into the deepest level of the trench and he did not want to tell his buddies about it to create a barrier against their healthy but mind-restraining suggestions. With the glow of sun on the blue surface of Pacific, Mark became more enthusiastic, wanting to know all those secrets of deep underwater.

As he walked to the verge of the ocean, Mark was snug in his scuba gear and his heartbeat was pinching with joy. He just sensed the water’s heavy surface being pressed upon his body, a physical representation of all the forces that lied within the deep waters below. The longer he fell, the higher he sunk, thus generating more pressure which persistently attempted to kill him by crushing him with its invincible hands.

Yet, Mark did not give up on it and, instead, pulled himself together and was driven by some kind of unconventional feeling that went beyond physical challenges. He said that he went lower than an expert diver would ever dare to go at one point and his body adjusted, being able to react to the extreme conditions and transform. As he went on, he began breaking one record after the other, evading even the most difficult of obstacles that could mar his road and his resolve didn't break.

Plunging into unknown, Mark was overwhelmed by doubts while his friends’ anxiety grew the longer he was gone. Their friends didn't realize that just starting the journey proved to be not only stressful and challenging but also unbalanced their companionship. They lost track of the other threats but would later know that unseen threats would endanger all of their lives.

While Mark was making his way deep into the trench, this trouble came to him as suddenly as the strike of lightning. They succumb to deteriorating conditions at depth and tissues damaged by air deprivation and poor decompression, suffering for knowingly confronting the indifference of Mother Nature. Nevertheless, beyond all those difficulties there is a sort of Mark’s enthusiasm and endurance that allowed him to keep fighting against the problems he was in.

Finally, the intrepid Mark achieved the bottom of the Mariana Trench, one of the deadliest places on earth, where humans can go. Surrounded by darkness and loneliness, this is how the moment where he found comfort in being embraced by the sea, and then his heart was filled with a sense of stillness and fullness. And though in the end doom caught up with him, his soul was still present - the testament of the human character and the greatness of the sea.

Marks story will become a landmark of exploration history where the indefatigable bravery and curiosity of humans will be acknowledges for having explored the unknown. Without doubt, the most bottom of the Mariana Trench is an unexplored area now, but this mystery will keep calling those who have the guts to try and reveal the riddle of this unique place. And that in spite of the explorer Mark being dead and gone explorers will be there until the end of time. And as long as explorers like Mark will exist, the sprit of exploration will always be there, forever reverberating in the depths of the ocean.
