In the distant past, where the echoes linger,

at a planet so big, at the cradle of Earth, where giants fell, majestic animals vast

A shadow thrown, a whisper of history.

Where the primal breeze would tease, through the knotted vines and old trees

The powerful dinosaurs, ferocious and majestic, ruled over a land throughout the prehistoric era.

With its neck raised so high, the sauropod reached up and kissed the sky.

A peaceful and tranquil giant that is gentle,

It was sighted in the lush woodlands.

The soil shook with each stride, breaking trees and sending leaves shivering.

A creature of such immense grace that was considerate of its time and place.

The Triceratops lived peacefully along the river's bank, where the waters ran.

Its crown-like frill and arrogant horns

a protector of the peaceful shroud.

It was motionless in the mist of the morning, a silhouette against the chill of the day.

It confronted the day with each sunrise.

in a place that seemed incredibly distant.

Pterodactyls, who soared unrestrained, belonged to a separate kind in the skies.

They carelessly danced in the air, masters of the currents, with wings like sails.

They would soar far and wide over the woodlands, from cliff to cliff.

With an unending grace, they lived their lives in the golden embrace of the sun.

However, deep within the forest, where shadows linger and secrets are kept,

A beast lurked, ferocious and audacious,

A terrifying story, commonly recounted.

With a terrible power, the T-Rex prowled through the darkness, its roar thundering.

It made its claim in the woods, eyes like flame and teeth like daggers.

Hunter of the old forests,

All were afraid, but they understood.

An emblem of an innate power, an apex predator pursuing its predetermined path.

But what if these giants arrived in the present day to find their way?

Would people in dazzling cities with tall buildings be in awe of the sky?

The stegosaurus stands tall among the buildings of the urban sprawl.

In a world so different, would it wonder where the forests went?

In the constant din of traffic, would it find the city depressing?

I yearn for the freedom of the untamed landscapes and the wide open plains.

Pterodactyls in the packed sky, screeching in surprise as they avoided planes.

Would they miss the old breeze and the easy pleasures of being able to soar freely?

T-Rex in the middle of the city noise, might it fit in somewhere?

Or would it roar with pure dismay at the mayhem of the modern world?

However, these remnants of a world so dear can be seen peering through the curtain of time.

We revisit them in vivid dreams, and in museums, novels, and silver screens.

To serve as a reminder to all of the past,

a period before the global craze.

Soft songs of life were sung in the days when giants roamed the planet and it was yet young.

Now picture a sauropod.

In a park, where kids walked around.

Its patient posture, its soft eyes,

a live artifact from an ancient dance.

Would kids look on in utter amazement at something so amazing?

A link to the past made of flesh and bone

A tale from an unknown era.

triceratops in verdant pastures,

A serene, beautiful sight.

It narrates a story about bygone eras in which it was prevalent with each stride.

Would it talk about the past beneath the open sky?

Of herds that wandered in tranquil elegance, in a place long since forgotten?

The zoo's pterodactyls,

A odd but real image.

They would spread their wings and tell a story.

Of boundless skies and sailing winds.

Would they long for bygone times, in a world so audacious and daring?

or figure out how to fit in and stay in today's world?

The T-Rex, ferocious yet bewildered,

In a world where changing the past into the present tense comes at a cost,

An intense clash of eras.

Would it find a home in this union, or would it shout in wild defiance?

A remnant of a glorious era that is difficult to comprehend.

Poetry allows us to bring these ancient giants, whom we hold dear, closer.

To stroll once more beneath the same, everlasting sky in our minds.

They resurrect in our hearts, these creatures from a world we once knew.

Their energy lives on in every line.

The past of the ancient era endures.

The giants are alive and well in this tribute to bygone eras.

Their echoes are still audible now, from the commencement of the Mesozoic era.

Therefore, allow your imagination to soar to the era of the powerful dinosaur.

Because, in our terms, they are appropriate.

An evidence of their unwavering grace.
