The Vocal Leaderboard
For The Vocal "The Most Overrated" Challenge

Introduction
The Vocal Leaderboard started off with good intentions to reward people for their work and performance on Vocal, and initially it worked, but like many of these things, people have learned how to manipulate it for their own benefit, though not always successfully.
Why Do I Think This?
Check out the Leaderboard, and most of the places are repeat Leaderboard people. The reason they are on there is because of comments from other V+ Creators.
Non-V+ creators' comments do not count; they are treated as lower class by Vocal despite being very supportive of others.
Check out the comments, and very often it is people who have placed either in the current week or previous weeks.
Sometimes Top Stories appear in there because of the comments they get for being a Top Story, so if Vocal wants someone to appear on the leaderboard, a prominent Top Story will help achieve that.
While the stories that appear there are usually good, it is nothing more than a popularity contest.
I have seen certain Facebook groups encouraging people to comment on certain stories to get them on the leaderboard.
In theory, you could just create a completely rubbish story, and with enough V+ comments it could hit the top, although I know Vocal do filter out ones they don't like in favour of others.
I think a better use would be to choose ten stories, based on unique comments (V+ and non-V+ creators), Top Stories and Challenge placements excluded and a five-dollar bonus for each one. This would be a creator's choice leaderboard.
Conclusion
Thank you for being one of the few reading this; this WILL NOT feature on the Vocal Leaderboard. ๐๐๐คฃ๐๐น
