Saturdays
We all made it it is Saturday. This is the sixth day of the week and the real start to the weekend for me. This is the day when most people go to ball games of some sort during whatever season it may be. Spring is usually baseball, Summer could be just about anything, Fall is of course football and winter could be hockey.
Mark GrahamPublished 30 days ago in CritiqueJennifer's Awakening: A Journey from Death's Embrace
What happens when someone dies? Do they know that they are dead? Fortunately, here is a true story of a middle-aged woman who died and stirred from her slumber after two days. Jennifer, a mother of six children was living happily in a neighbourhood. Jennifer was blessed with a joyous family, their bond woven tightly with love and laughter. Their home was geographically situated where they could easily access the river and market. Jennifer had a husband who was a fisherman and could always come home with enough meals to feed his family. They were by then one of the greatest families in the village due to their unity and self-independence. As time went by, Jennifer started to become sick. Despite her efforts to carry out household and gardening tasks, the relentless progression of the disease gradually sapped her strength day by day.

Yes, the end of the workweek and the weekend is upon us and the day is Friday. TGIF (Thank God It's Friday) was a phrase famous in the late eighties or so. The first night of the weekend.

What is there to say about the fourth day of the work week known as Thursday. This is the day right before the day everyone looks forward to the future so to speak. This is a day that is quite hard to describe, but I will give it a try.

Brett A. Blake has written a business book entitled ' Renewal For Field Leaders'. This is an academic book for businesspeople who lead employees and independent contractors in how to keep their businesses solvent over years. It covers topics dealing with direct selling of various products and ideas from the Business Lifecycle Stages from Launch through Decline or Renewal to the CHISEL plan for renewal (Cash, Hope, Innovation, Simplification, Expansion, Leadership). He states in a way there is an AIM in cash management. He also mentions the H.O.P.E. formula for business. Another facet he mentions one must use experimentation along with human-to-human experience to improve your business or do something else. One last idea he share is the 'Three C's of Simplification' that are 'Calendar, Cadence, and Communication which is also the most important aspect of any and all business enterprises. The layout of this academic book is shown in large type for easy reading that would make an great supplemental read for many economics courses or any business management courses.

Wednesday is what people like to call 'Hump Day'. It is the middle of the week and now it seems that everyone is looking for to Friday and the weekend. One must try and enjoy all the days of the week not just the weekends. There is joy to be found in all the days of the week. You just have to try harder on some days.

So, the second day of the work week also known as 'Taco Tuesday' which for some reason to me is now quite an overused expression in society in general. Tuesday is just a day that some are still getting over Monday. It is a day that seems to require a little more attitude to organize whatever people are planning.

Note: This is another example of something that I left on a drive and forgot about. It is a play about the world we live in...and I think you might find something to relate to...
Kendall DefoePublished about a month ago in CritiqueWhat about a Monday?
Writing a short series for the days of the week in Critique. Since this is the first day of week being a Monday why doesn't anyone really like this day. It could be that they really liked what they did on the weekend or that maybe there is something that they do not want to do or deal with at work. To me a Monday is a new start and one must look at in this way.

What does the word 'renewal' mean to you? The word 'renewal' to me means a chance to think and to better in whatever I am doing or plan to do in the future to make things better. I did this today when I changed my profile statement. Renewal means to make a change but keep learning.

Fearing that Iran would soon attack Israel, France advised its citizens not to travel to the region as truce talks to halt the six-month-old war continued. Locals in central Gaza reported hearing heavy Israeli fire on Friday, and tensions in the region spiked as Iran threatened retaliation for an attack in Syria earlier this month that claimed the lives of two Iranian generals. Fearing that Iran would soon attack Israel, France advised its citizens not to travel to the region as truce talks to halt the six-month-old war continued. In Nusrat, central Gaza, Mohammed al-Raye's, 61, told AFP that he escaped Israeli "air strikes and artillery shelling" during the course of the night. "It was all fire and destruction, with so many martyrs lying in the street," he stated. Laila Nasser, 40, another resident, said she heard "shells and missiles" all night long. Declaring that "they will do to Nusrat what they did to Khan Yunis," Nasser vowed to follow the majority of Gaza's people and escape to the southern city of Rafah. After months of battle, Israel withdrew its forces from the damaged city of Khan Yunis last week. However, officials indicated that they were getting ready to launch operations against Hamas operatives in Rafah, which is close to the Egyptian border. Numerous fresh airstrikes on Gaza's central region were reported by authorities on Friday, according to the coastal Palestinian territory ruled by Hamas. 25 persons were hospitalized in Deir al-Bablah city "as a result of an air strike on a house of the al-Tabatibi family," according to the Hamas media office.

Who is Jesus Christ? He is the risen one. He is the ultimate person who can help anyone. He was born of the Virgin Mary on Christmas. He was crucified and buried and then rose on Easter. He is the one leader for all use if we can only see it for it is the truth.
