DAЯK
Mindbending German Science Fiction

Introduction
This is a series that I had nheard good things about, and the first try didn't work out, but this one has.
These are just my feelings about it.
It was the first German language series on Netflix, but I used the dubbed version, although I am also fine with subtitles.
It is available on Netfliix, and the Wiki entry is comprehensive.
Why Did It Grab Me Plus A Few Issues
This takes in the lives of four families in a German town , which has a Nuclear facilitt which, at the least is untrustworthy.
Children disappear and some die, but this is where things start to get interesting because there is a temporal wormhole in the town caves and children are lost though this.
The timeslips are based on a thirty three year cosmic recurrence, although some biblical references detract from it. The wormhole may have been caused by an event within the Nuclear facility or a machine built by a watchmaker.
There is a character who believes he can save the human race, but is convinced that all that there is is pain and chaos.
Some of the dialogue between the charaters in their day to day lives is a bit clunky but that may be the dubbed soundtrack. I relly should learn more languages.
There is some graphic violence and some disturbing scenes, but the timeslips are interesting and the dialogue about the nature of time and the universe give you lots to think about.
Conclusion
While this is not an easy or simple watch, it is definitely worthwhile, but you have to give it your attention.
I give it a definite thumbs up but you may have a different opinion.
Thank you for reading.
