Pedophiles Lerk Everywhere We Go - Dont Think Photos On The Internet Are Safe

Sexual abuse in any shape or form is only getting worse and I partially blame the world of technology and how we are not protected.

I also know as a victim of sexual abuse, it is so desperately important for parents and grandparents to do everything in their power to protect their children and to educate them as much as they can.

The biggest of all the problems I see parents, family members or even strangers do is post pictures of children. The worst are those of them in the bathtubs. Private rooms are exactly that, a room where we have no clothes on, for any reason (like bathtime fun) is not a place where anyone at any age should be taking photos or even posting them on the internet.

Who lurks about the internet, could find their next victim.

After I knew of two pedophiles from my community who were put on the sexual offender's list and were told to stay away from children, Well that doesn't happen, we all know it. One was a teacher at that.

Now not being able to teach again, a six-month sentence and of course counselling. Now both that person and another one, well known in the community, every morning sit in the local coffee area of the mall. Looking at children of all ages. Can you do something about that? No, they are allowed to sit there, they are not doing anything wrong.

While only seats away are teenage girls and little children.

I firmly feel that it is time that they all be locked up for life as their punishment, they should have no right to go anywhere after doing what they have done to others.

Look around your parks when you take the kids.

Cell phones are used often, taking photos and not just by you. Look around and dont allow it. Be the eyes of the children or in the case of teenagers be the eyes of your friends.

PARENTS- Right from the very beginning, you have been chosen the most beautiful gift of all, a beautiful baby to raise, care for and most of all protect. Do that and do everything you can to protect them.

We can't put them in bubble wrap, we can't keep them locked indoors, and we have to allow them to find happiness wherever they go. Yet when they are young they are depending on you to keep them safe.

Teach them not to talk to strangers, but as we all know the majority of preditors are more times than enough someone you know or possibly related to them.

I urge you to read the book "It's Okay To Tell Secrets". Often after a terrifying event has happened (as said in the book) the victim is told if they tell anyone, they could be killed or something bad is going to happen to them.

I am not trying to pretend I am an expert on this, only from what I have gone through. I make mistakes like everyone. I try my best and I have spoken to the children when they were younger.

It's a very cruel and sick world out there but there is still a lot of beauty. Fear can control you, or make you stronger. By educating yourself and the key factor of staying on top of stopping these things from happening, you could make a difference in one person's life by talking to them.

Make others aware, protect those babies and keep them safe. Stop posting,

I beg of you.
