The Ugandan official was caught on video, he not only sped up, but he hit and killed a person standing in the middle of the road. His pathway wasn't being blocked, he purposely sped up to hit the pedestrian in the road.

There was a protest taking place on that day, on that same road. Which was why Ugandans were filming, no one was expecting a person would die that day during their filming.

Hundreds of Ugandans took to social media in an outcry about the incident.

Not only was the murder horrific but the Ugandan political leader revealed his motive during an interview.

In his words:

"I was angry and drunk,"Kagadi LCV says.

In a morning phone interview with this publication, Kagadi LCV chairperson Ndibwami. B. Yosia boldly told this reporter that he will neither be interdicted nor indicted due to his party colors and inebriated state at the time.

When I first saw the video I thought it was some sort of joke, you know things that you see on social media often have to be questioned. However when the people started scrambling into the roadway, some even started to run after the speeding truck.

Uganda is known to millions of Ugandans as a country where violent incidents happen by the hands of their own military and police. Ugandans have been murdered with videos documenting the incidents.

Just watching the first episode of Hulu/Disneys Bobi Wine the Peoples President you can't help but wince from the violence and blood captured and documented on the raw footage.

Some of the young men had to organize a protest in order for something to be done about the murder. Eventually the official turned himself into the Ugandan police, however their statement on what the official actually said about hitting the pedestrian was very different from what he said in an interview.

You can find that video below, it was posted by Uganda's UTV News .

In the documentary on Bobi Wine, Ugandan political leader, the Hulu special showed the violent acts and murders happening in the country. The first episode was more than emotional, it shows how the 39-year leadership was choking the life out of the citizens of Uganda.

Sadly I don't think much will come from this case in the future, the news will slowly die down and the country will forget about the outrage they feel. Or truthfully, there will be another incident, one which will draw their attention.

The family of the victim though will never forget this, they might possibly be paid money to silence them. Ugandans deserve much better though.

Meanwhile in Uganda, there are still dozens of family members who have had their loved ones kidnapped. Many accusing government officials of being behind the kidnappings, Bobi Wines Hulu/Disney documentary gives a brutal look into these crimes.

As well as the violence facing Ugandans who happen to rally agains the 39-year dictatorship of Musenveni and his bully son. Here you can read about those issues.

For now there hasn't been any other news reports about this brutal murder, nor will there be for the immediate future as Uganda is now dealing with the impending threats of terrorism in the country. As Uganda police warn citizens to remain alert for possible acts of terrorism.

Sadly this gives no comfort to Ugandans who have to not only watch out for the terrorists from outside their country, to the terrorists wearing their countries uniforms.
