It is said that the wisdom of Allah (God) Almighty cannot be comprehended by humans. Glory be to Allah! Listen to this amazing story.

This happened in one of the courts in Iraq in the year 1965. A retired judge recounted in his memoirs an extraordinary incident he personally witnessed involving one of his neighbors.

This poor neighbor was a man who had a family consisting of his wife, three sons, two sisters, and his elderly mother. His father had passed away, and this poor man was the sole breadwinner, running a small vegetable shop.

The judge said, "Every day when I returned home and sat in the garden by my door, I would listen to the sounds of my neighbors on either side. I would feel joyful whenever this father of the family came home."

"Every night, he would return carrying groceries - sometimes meat, other times fruit from his shop that was past its prime and no longer fit for sale. His children would excitedly greet him at the door, taking the food and cooking it. I could smell the aroma of their cooking, and it delighted me alongside this family, even though they were unaware that I could hear them."

Years passed in this routine until one night, the judge heard the family's shrieks, wails, and cries. He went out to investigate and saw security forces carrying a stretcher with the father's body on it. The wife, children, and sisters were weeping uncontrollably, for this man was their sole provider.

The judge continued, "From that day onward, the family's circumstances changed 180 degrees. After the funeral, they received a small sum to sustain themselves for a day or two. With no other choice, the eldest son, aged 15, had to drop out of school and work at his late father's vegetable shop."

This continued for three years until the son turned 18 and was drafted into compulsory military service in Iraq. The family deliberated, and with no other options, they decided to let him go, hoping Allah would not forsake them.

The mother frantically sold their home for around $1460 to pay the $320 cash fee to exempt her son from military service, as the deadline was the next day. She rushed to the taxi stand late at night, hoping to make it to her son's military camp by morning.

No taxis were leaving until she proposed paying the fare for five passengers just to get a driver to take her. On the desolate road between the two cities, which passed through a treacherous valley inhabited by wild beasts, the greedy driver stopped and robbed her, throwing her into the deep ravine.

The next morning, he returned to that same spot with new passengers to confirm the woman was dead. To his shock, she was still alive, clinging to life. As he raised a rock to finish her off, a venomous snake bit him, and he cried out. The passengers rushed to find the driver dead beside the injured woman.

They took her to the hospital near her son's military camp. As she regained consciousness, she revealed to the investigators the entire harrowing story. They found the stolen money on the dead driver and, incredibly, were able to use it to pay the fee and release her son from service that very day.

With the money left over from selling their home, the son opened a larger vegetable store. The family prospered - the eldest son became an engineer, the second a doctor, the third an army officer. The judge marveled at how Allah had saved this destitute woman and enabled her children's success through her desperate prayers in that dark valley.

Glory be to Allah, the Most Wise, whose intricate decree brought justice through such an amazing turn of events! This true story defies imagination and serves as a powerful reminder of Allah's supreme wisdom and mercy
