Tigers, murder for hire, throuple wedding, suspected murder, amputation, dodgy tattoos, interview in a bath, an ongoing internet fued and drugs... These are just a few of the crazy things you'll experience after divulging into the world of the Tiger king on Netflix. For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past few months. Tiger King is one of the newest Netflix crazes consuming twitter feeds, tiktoks and the uncontrolable, unsanctioned world of memes. Although, from its description, it might seem as though this is some manic plot of an Mnight Shyamalan upcoming film, it is in fact just a short variety of things that crop up in the obscure documentary. A spoiler alert is important at this point, although I will only be mentioning a few of the insane sights that occur during this documentary, it may seem as though I have already spoiled this documentaries story for you: but just wait -

Tiger King focuses on the world of exotic pet owners and zoo owners. In the case of "the Tiger King" Joe exotic, he is the propriator of The G.W zoo which is, The Garold Wayne Exotic Animal Memorial Park. The park was established in 1999 by Joe Exotic and dedicated to the memory of his brother Garold Wayne Schreibvogel, who had died in a car crash in 1997. The zoo is located in Oklahoma and has experienced some changes since the shows release. For instance, it has new owners and has undertaken a transformation - but how did this change come about?

In the first episode we see a park employee soaked in blood as he has just had his arm severed by one the tigers. The phrase 'I am never going to financially recover from this" which joe utters in the aftermath of the tiger attack is just the pinncale starting point to the rabbit hole you are engulfed in when watching this series. Later on, we meet some of Joes other park employees and as the documentary develops we are plunged further and further into the chaos and web of lies that follows the park and those associated with it. A murder for hire transpires from multiple conspiracy theories and is just the tipping point to the further craziness we witness in this obscure documentary of a story so insane, its hard to believe. What I have mentioned is just the tippy top of the iceberg, this stories importance is in the details and these details are slowly trickled into the documentary from the very first episode.

This documentary is truly a rolelrcoaster ride for any viewer, no matetr how much of an avid documentary watcher you may be. Instead, each episode fuels the next and helps formulate the shocking and twisting story that is "Tiger King".

Again, a name everyone knows by now, without having even watched the documentary is CAROLE BASKIN. The documentary follows as being more so made up of 10% cold case/20% tigers and 70% hating CAROLE BASKIN. The name itself triggers subconcious memories, the case surrounding her 1st husbands mysterious disappearance and then her continued work as an animal rights activist, despite her also, basically owning a zoo just like Joe exotics, is one of the main focuses of the documentary. If you enjoy shows like keeping up with the kardashians and the realhousewives then you need to see tiger king! Imagine all of your favourite reality shows, with the added mixture of murder for hire, drugs, tigers, multiple weddings, a suicide, an fbi case and a cold case.

Tiger King takes you on a wild journey, it is worth the whiplash!
