Returning to the state of Washington is always an exciting adventure for me. I want to share the sights and sounds of this beautiful northwest corner of our nation with you.

May 5th, 2021: A disturbance was reported alongside a popular roadway in Seattle, Washington, drawing heavy police presence to the area. Witnesses on the scene described a woman who appeared to be seriously injured, acting erratically, and holding an unknown object in her hand. It took multiple police officers to subdue her, and her appearance struck onlookers as unnatural, almost zombie-like. This incident, which became known as the Seattle Zombie Woman case, quickly went viral on social media, sparking an internet mystery.

The initial video of the incident showed a woman with a ghostly pale face and half her head shaved, limping across the street and yelling in pain. In her hand, she held what appeared to be a bloody fanny pack. The lack of context and official statements left many speculating about the bizarre event. Some believed it was a hoax, while others thought it might be related to a movie production in the area.

However, the mystery took a darker turn when additional videos emerged. In one clip, the woman's face appeared even more abnormal, with pitch-black eyes and lips. She continued to act erratically, evading police attempts to calm her. In another video, she uttered her first discernable words, pleading with officers not to take her to the hospital and mentioning her baby. This raised questions about the mysterious object in her hand, which some believed resembled a baby's head.

Despite the video's popularity, there was no official statement from the Seattle Police Department, leading to various theories. Some believed it was a setup or a PR stunt, while others speculated that the woman might be a real-life zombie. The lack of information and the removal of videos from social media platforms fueled conspiracy theories, including claims that it was a cover-up.

One popular but debunked theory suggested that the woman was Marilyn Stanley, a victim of a brutal attack by her ex-boyfriend and his dog. However, this theory was easily disproven as the attack took place in Kentucky, not Seattle, and years before the incident in question. Another theory pointed to drugs or severe mental illness as explanations for her behavior and appearance.

Months passed without any new developments until March 9th, 2022, when a YouTube video by Rebecca MS revealed crucial information. Police body cam footage showed that the woman, known as the Seattle Zombie Woman, was actually Kimberly Kasai. She was wearing theatrical makeup and fake blood, and the incident was a stunt to convey her political views. Kimberly's social media posts confirmed her involvement in the hoax, bringing an end to the internet mystery.

In the end, what initially appeared as a disturbing and mysterious incident turned out to be a bizarre publicity stunt. While the theories surrounding the case were dark and unsettling, the truth was ultimately less sinister. This case serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of internet mysteries and the importance of seeking credible information to uncover the facts.
