South Africa had been named the "rape culture & rape capital" of the world, now someone is killing their children in the most brutal ways. Rape of women is ignored largely all over the world even in the US where only 1 in 1000 rapists will face jail time. Statistics from NOVA Bucks County, Pennsylvania (Network of Victims Assistance)

These children are the next generation of ignored, abandoned and mistreated tiny humans on the planet. A United States politician said, children get ignored because they don't have any lobbyist, the way there once were many for the NRA (National Rifle Association). Because children have no money to employ anyone to lobby (schmooze, line the pockets of law makers on their behalf).

“The lives of 352 children were violently cut short between October and December 2021, according to the latest statistics released by the South African Police Service. That’s nearly four children killed each day.

Such shocking numbers of child murders have tragically become a norm in South African society.

These statistics do not even tell the full story. Another 394 children survived attempted murder and 2,048 children were victims of physical assault. Each child must now recover from their physical injuries and cope with the mental trauma they suffered as a result. The number of murders astonishingly reveal an actual decrease of 5.6% on the same period in 2020 but attempted murders jumped 30%.

"Kidnappings are on the rise and so is human trafficking," says Bianca van Aswegen of Missing Children SA

The organisation has warned that both children and adults are targeted by trafficking syndicates in the country

Parents have been urged to look out for themselves and their children amid an apparent increase in kidnapping and human trafficking cases.

Missing Children South Africa has noted an increase in the number of abductions taking place across the country.

The organisation has dealt with cases of opportunistic kidnappings, parental abductions, ransom kidnappings, traditional medicine kidnappings, and human trafficking.

The missing children are turning up dead in the most gruesome ways. With body parts and limbs removed. Human trafficking is a large scale worldwide issue, children are the easiest targeted population. The trillion dollar industry of slavery isn't showing any signs of slowing as many countries ignore this because it targets mainly women and children.

When wealthy White men become the victims the attention will pour into the efforts to end this. However are these the same people whom are profiting off of the enslavement? How can so many millions be enslaved, sold and transported around the world without anyone noticing.

PRETORIA, 22 August 2022 – “Today we take a moment to pause, reflect and speak out for the 243 children and 855 women murdered in South Africa between April and June 2022. A further 1,670 children were victims of grievous bodily harm, a 58% jump on the same period last year.

The latest statistics released by the South African Police Service reveal not just shocking figures but individual, family and community tragedies that have far reaching consequences across society.

We may not know each child, each woman personally but we should never accept such violence as a norm in society.

As we go about our lives today, at least another 3 children would have had theirs violently cut short and a further 18 will be recovering from the physical and mental health impact of suffering grievous bodily harm.

As a woman in South Africa, being catcalled relentlessly and being approached continuously by men lurking in shadows made hyperawareness not only a necessity, but a habit.

I remember walking to the gym with my sister and trying to conceal pepper spray under my sleeve in case of an attack. Horror stories from friends, peers, and on the news made me feel like none of the preventative measures I was taking were strong enough.
