The Flash movie review & film summary (2023)

The Flash is their latest superhero movie from DC, which is very famous in Hollywood. This movie, starring Ezra Miller in the title role, was released in theaters today. This movie created huge hype among the audience even before its release. And now let's see the review to know to what extent this movie lives up to the hype

Story:

Barry Allen aka The Flash (Ezra Miller), Bruce Wayne aka Batman (Ben Affleck) with the help of Clyse Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) stop a massive bank robbery. Barry then decides to save his father, Henry Allen (Ron Livingston), who is convicted of murdering his wife Nora Allen (Maribel Verdue). Then to the past He believes he can save his mother by traveling and goes back in time. And what happens next, will he prevent his mother's death, will he meet a younger version of himself, will he return to the present and save his father, or, in fact, If you want answers to everything like who is Kara Zor L aka Supergirl (Sasha Calle), you have to watch The Flash movie.

Plus Points:

The Flash is the 13th movie in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and has a great story and many of the same things that fans love on the silver screen. Ezra Miller once again gave an entertaining performance as his younger version surprised the fans with a different look. Between Superhero Barry and Powerless Barry The humorous dialogues are impressive. The film itself is full of nostalgic moments. Michael Keaton donned the Batman cape after 31 years for this film. His character arc is well done and his conversations with Future Flash are great. The emotional connection between the characters works well. Sasha Calle in her powerful role as Supergirl Surprised everyone. Although she has less screen time, she entertains the audience with her performance. And Wonder Woman's special role feels a bit thrilling. Maribel Verdue gives her best performance as Nora Allen. Children in hospital Flash's heroic rescue scene is one of the highlights of the movie. When the flash scenes come, they are amazing with slow motion. Overall the visuals are powerfully impressive.

Minus Points:

Especially The Flash Movie is a movie with a simple story without much twists and turns. Barry Allen's interaction scene with Batman and Supergirl in another timeline has to be said to be the most surprising part of the entire movie. A superhero with a time travel concept No stranger to fans of the movies, Barry Allen's emotional journey to prevent his mother's death will be highly entertaining in The Flash. The story in the second half could have been more engaging. Especially the villain General Zod in the story and The scenes with Supergirl would have been more powerful. There are no proper action scenes between Flash, Supergirl, Batman and General Zod in the second half. And the whole fighting scene feels underwhelming. Barry Allen's present and past tenses The director hesitated in adding strong emotional scenes in between. If it had done so, it would have significantly enhanced the film's strength. Additionally, a few more scenes establishing Supergirl's powers would have made the movie more enjoyable. Just like that The same could have been done for the character of General Zod. After all the events, the audience expects an exciting climax, but a simple climax without excitement is a disappointing aspect of The Flash. A better climax would have been written in the sequel.

Technical category:

First-time director Andy Muschietti helms a superhero movie, and he delivers. However, the writers, John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold managed to fill the movie with more interesting scenes. Christina Hodson's screenplay is good. The visuals are amazing, Cinematographer Henry Braham and the VFX department worked hard. Benjamin Wallfisch's music is good, but could have been better, especially during the film's high moments in the second half, which would have helped the film a lot with tighter editing.

Verdict:

Overall, The Flash is an okay action drama movie with a lot of emotional scenes. Ezra Miller gives an entertaining performance as Michael Keaton. However, the characters of Supergirl and General Zod could have been better written. And despite some unnecessary scenes and a generic climax, this superhero movie is a fun family watch this weekend.
