Who killed Russell and Shirley Dermond?
It was eight years ago on May 6, 2014, that one of the strangest unsolved homicide cases ever occurred. The Dermonds, Russell, 88, and Shirley, 87, lived a peaceful life at their lakefront home in Eatonton, Georgia. Both had retired after successfully owning several fast-food restaurants. Eatonton is a small city with just over 6,000 residents. Homicides rarely, if ever, occur in Eatonton, so it is considered a safe place to live. However, the double homicide of a beloved elderly couple would shake up Eatonton residents. The murders of Russell and Shirley Dermond must keep Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills up at night.

*WARNING: THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS PHOTOS AND EVENTS THAT MAY BE FOUND AS DISTURBING* On April 26th 1949, in the city of Kobe, Japan, Issei Sagawa was born prematurely. As a baby, Sagawa developed enteritis, a disease of the small intestine, which meant he had to have several injections of potassium and calcium in saline. He eventually recovered. Even though the country of Japan was feeling the after effects of World War 2, Issei had a relatively happy childhood. This was massively helped by the extreme wealth his family had accrued. His father, Akira Sagawa, was the president at Kurita Water Industries which today has reported revenue of over 200 billion yen ($1.5 billion) and his grandfather was a successful editor at Japan's largest newspaper publisher, The Asahi Shimbun.

The Role of a Criminal Defense Lawyer in Today's Time

However, if you are a defendant in a criminal proceeding, you want the assistance of a certified crook protection lawyer, regardless of your guilt or innocence. We’ve met, you and I. I remember it. Not vividly, but well enough. I was coming out of my room and you passed by, a towel wrapped around you. You’d obviously just visited the same shower that I was headed for. You smiled, a nice smile, and I smiled back. And that was it, the only interaction we were ever to have in life.

The unknown dead man found on Somerton Beach
In Adelaide, Australia a man was found in what looked like his Sunday best down to the polished shoes he had on. He had no wallet, no ID, or driver’s license on him. Nothing to identify this man. Looked like he could have had a heart attack or poisoning but the toxicology report showed nothing in his system and it was not a heart attack. Fingerprints showed nothing, which back then they weren’t connected through other states and counties with fingerprints
