Mom shot her three children for a man.
Diane Downs May 19 1983, the night Springfield Oregon was turned upside down. It's 10:48 p.m. at Mackenzie William Hospital. A family car has become an ambulance. Children have been shot. It is every mother's nightmare. Three children gunned down by a complete stranger. Single mother Diane Downs is also shot in the arm. There were three children, Cheryl, Christie and Danny. Cheryl had already expired. Dr. Stephen and his medical team tried to save the two surviving children. Christie had a couple of bullet holes and she had no blood pressure, no pulse, she was pasty white and appeared to be dead. These children would gradually lose consciousness, they would be experiencing pain and their blood pressure would gradually drop. Doctors and nurses work frantically in a race against the clock. Medical attention would have to be received before critical levels of oxygen had stopped reaching the brain, at which point they would become brain-dead.

Vampire Lesbian Killer
Tracey Wiggington Between excitement and murder, the idea of a thrill kill shocks every society, wherever it happens. One morning the Australian city of Brisbane awoke to news of a most horrific murder. He was covered in blood, absolutely coding blood. In October 1989 detective Pat Clancy gets a case he'll never forget. I've seen some shockers believe me. This murder scene would write up here among the Tubman's. At the crime scene a naked father of five lay dead. He appeared to be stabbed in his throat, savagely slashed. When the body was rolled over. I truly thought that the head was going to detach from the body. It just almost went its own way and it was a most uncomfortable. Who could commit such a brutal crime. That first day no one could have guessed, I'd think we even considered the idea of it being a female.

Four Angels of death
Four Angels of death A killer’s troubling behavior can alert potential victims but for some unfortunate citizens of Vienna Austria there were no such clues. The motivation was obscure, the location unusual, the perpetrators unexpected. If this was a shocker of the world, what really happened here in Vienna, Max heads criminal investigations in Vienna's South District. In 1989 he and his team were called to the Lions General Hospital, this is the one of the darkest Hospital. They're specially dealing with very elder people. In the preceding three years an alarming number of elderly patients were dying in just one wing, pavilion five. Investigators soon found out why. It's so terrible because you never would expect in a hospital that this is a murder station. Angels of Death nurses, who kill patients usually act alone and never tell anyone, not so in this case. Angels of Death are often motivated by sympathy for their victims or a lust for attention, in pavilion 5 the motivation was very different.

Black Widows of Liverpool
Catherine Flannagan & Margaret Higgins A remarkable cooperative was run by a group of women in Liverpool, England, in the 1880s. Everyone has probably heard of women banding together in difficult times, but you usually assume that this will be done in a friendly manner. Former police prosecutor Angela Preben fought crime in English courts for her entire career, but her favourite case was one that occurred before she was even born. A group of women who live together are creating a network, a murder syndicate. It's an investment in death. It was an easy plan: take out an ensurance policy on everyone in their immediate circle, then kill them, one by one. In reality, there were four women who were killing. Then there were five or six more people whose only worry is about their insurance. Their little fortune was made possible by the woman's shrewdness, which also completely upended the British insurance sector.

Catherine Knight
Sergeant Bob Wells, a police detective, tries to forget the day he learned of one of the most horrifying crimes in Australian history. For a little while, you just kind of lost most of your senses until we actually collected them and understood that it was reality. Swimming every day is an attempt to erase the image that's still there in his subconscious. Clothes, cutlery, a glass or even trying to lead two groups in an emotional and mental capacity today. Bob Wells would be just one of the people whose lives the events of Kathryn night would forever alter. Something like horns growing out of her head or being restrained like Hannibal Lecter is what I would expect from someone who has done what Catherine has done. However, she had a fairly normal appearance. Journalist and author Peter would also be impacted. He was assigned to a story that his newspaper was unable to publish because editors decide which stories are appropriate for readers to read with breakfast in the morning. This particular story was deemed unsuitable because it was too horrific, but like many other stories about Catherine, he was drawn to it because he wanted to know if someone who could do what Catherine did was insane or not sentient. However, the court determined that Catherine was sane and could have been the person next door.
