A man fatally shot his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend over the weekend, before turning the gun on himself, authorities said.

When police arrived at a Phoenix, Ariz., apartment complex, they discovered three people shot to death, according to a news release. One victim leaves behind an 11-year-old daughter.

Investigators believe Taffari Celestine, 24, shot and killed 38-year-old Eric Sands outside the apartment. Celestine then reportedly forced his ex-girlfriend, 29-year-old Danica Aiken, into the apartment unit, where he shot her to death, before killing himself with the same gun.

"I heard screaming, yelling, 'Please! Someone help me.' Then I heard a gunshot and it sounded way too close, like in my yard," a neighbor reported.

Investigators believe the shooter and Aiken were previously in a relationship, while Sands was Aiken's current boyfriend.

A GoFundMe campaign launched to help cover funeral expenses for Aiken as she has she left behind an 11-year-old daughter.

The arrest of Octavious Rodgers

a murderer

Octavious Rodgers is behind bars after police said he shot his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend, strangled her son and tried to kill her too.

“I had my nephew and niece in the backyard with me. I had them come in the house and get down on the ground,” a neighbor had said.

When the first gunshot rang out and shattered glass hit the ground on Willow Woods Avenue on Saturday, this neighbor, who asked us to conceal his identity, gathered his family and ran for safety.

“I seen him beating on the window after he bust the rest of the windows out. Then he jumped in his truck and pulled off,” the neighbor said.

They said a few days earlier he strangled her 8-year-old son when he tried to defend his mother with a knife.

“If you’re choking a child out, you have a demon in you,” said Drip Manns, a neighbor.

But, he didn’t stop there, according to police.

Investigators said he drove over to his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend’s house to shoot him & who ever was with him .

THE STORY OF MARVIN GAYE

THE FAMOUS SINGER

Marvin Gaye's father was an American Pentecostal minister.

He married his wife, Alberta Cooper, in 1935. Alberta already had a son named Michael, but after saying he couldn't raise another man's son, Gay sent Michael to live with his sister-in-law.

Marvin Gaye was fatally shot by his father, Marvin Gay Sr, on April 1, 1984, at their home in the West Adams district of Los Angeles, California.

The singer was shot twice, following an argument with his father after he intervened in an altercation between his parents.

In the days just before his death, Marvin Gaye's parents had arguments over a misplaced insurance policy letter.

The day before his death, arguments had spread to Gaye's bedroom. Angered by his father shouting at his mother, Gaye told Marvin Sr to leave her alone.

At around 12.30pm, on April 1, 1984, Marvin Sr shouted at his wife about the document. Marvin, dressed in bathrobe, shouted back downstairs, telling his father if he had something to say, he should do it in person.

According to Alberta, when Marvin Sr refused, Gaye warned him not to come to his room. However, his father charged upstairs to the bedroom to shout at Alberta, causing Gaye to jump out of his bed.

When ordering him to leave did not work, Gaye is said to have shoved his father out of the room, and began to kick and punch him. Alberta later told Ritz: "Marvin hit him. I shouted for him to stop, but he paid no attention to me. He gave my husband some hard kicks."

Minutes after being separated, Marvin Sr entered his bedroom, and returned with a .38 pistol his son had bought him, pointed the gun at Gaye, and shot him directly in the heart.

As the United States lamented the nation’s latest mass school shooting, in which a gunman killed 19 children and two adults after storming into an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, more details emerged of those who died.

A law enforcement official said all victims were in the same fourth-grade classroom.

Every day, more than 110 people in America are killed with guns. The gun homicide rate in the U.S. is 26 times higher than that of other developed countries.

When it comes to how American children are exposed to gun violence, gunfire at schools is just the tip of the iceberg–every year, more than 3,500 children and teens are shot and killed and 15,000 more are shot and injured. An estimated 3 million children in the US are exposed to shootings per year. Firearms are the leading cause of death for children and teens.

We can now sue the dealer that sold the gun used in any school shooting.
