If Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted freedom to ring throughout this land, we can be thankful for liberty chiming in Kenosha, Wisconsin. For Kyle Rittenhouse to be a defender of justice and pride, he’s going to be coming home with all of his charges dropped.

The celebrations should be held in order to show how his Second Amendment rights have been secured. Anyone with their knickers in a twist over the ruling should know the placement that Rittenhouse had as a guardian of private property.

His ability to defend himself and be within the laws of Iowa and the United States of America, let him be freed from possible charges including murder.

If self-defense is to be not only prized and cherished but recognized and respected, we ought to look at his case as a touchstone in American justice.

This isn’t like the Amber Guyger case where she opened fire and killed an unarmed man in his own house. Rittenhouse was armed to protect his values, namely his own life.

If Rittenhouse can enter the Armed Forces of the United States at age seventeen years-old and handle an M-16, why can’t he be the same age with an AR-15 on the streets of Kenosha?

When it comes to the reality of Rittenhouse being threatened, It calls on all of us to respect the shooter. He sensed that his life was endangered and took two lives and injured another.

Rittenhouse should be hailed as a hero because he knew that he had a job to do and that he would continue to fight against any assailants who posed a threat.

Within the context of the law, Rittenhouse was in the right though people like to yammer about how he crossed state lines with his mother and mention his young age. The fact is that the weapon was legal and he had every right to be there.

The not guilty verdict declared that he was aligned with legal proceedings. As the jury found him not guilty on these charges it is important to remember that it is a beautiful day in this nation. Rittenhouse should not be relieved but happy that due process still functions properly in this country.

To keep on the side of right, the young man delivered shots into three individuals, killing two, because they presented themselves as anyone but friends. Rittenhouse stood his ground by knowing what he could do with a killing machine.

In his mind, Rittenhouse decided to be a member of the long list of patriots who needed to be released from the shackles of injustice. As a freedom fighter, Rittenhouse stands with other figures such as Bernard Goetz, the New York City subway shooter from 1984.

The acquittal came with the precise moment where the gavel struck and allowed Rittenhouse to walk.

This entire case ought to be mulled over and studied for its power to elucidate the truth about how everyone within the law that can possess a weapon, who protests, should be armed.

Let the notions of reason and peace take precedence over all of the nonsense and irresponsibility. If Rittenhouse can get off two kill shots into two separate individuals and injure a third, anyone else with weapons training should be able to get their bearings while displaying their ability to handle firearms.

Judge Bruce Schroeder’s shrewdness and ability to handle the prosecution, which was totally out of control, may have helped sway the jury. At one instance, the prosecutor, Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger, actually pointed a weapon at the jury. Anyone who knows about weapons handling knows the first and second rules of firearms safety: Treat every weapon as if it were loaded; Never point a weapon at anything you don’t intend to shoot.

This may have been a dealbreaker for those twelve individuals. Given the facts of the case and this dangerous, bizarre stunt, Rittenhouse should feel vindicated. He actually followed the rules of gun safety and should be commended for that.
