D4VD is now arrested but why did it take months

Rising pop singer D4VD ("David") is now arrested for the murder of his teenage girlfriend Celeste Rivas. Seven months ago, on September 8, an abandoned Tesla was found at the tow yard. Workers complained about a “foul odor” emanating from the Tesla. Inside the trunk, a body was found dismembered and decomposed. The body was identified as 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Herendaz. The Tesla was registered under David’s name. According to her family, Celeste was missing for a year and was supposed to be at the movies with a family member, and she was dating a guy named "David" and has stayed at his rental property. Burke is in his 20s, and the deceased teen is 13. At first, the Romantic Homicide singer was a suspect and was cooperating with the authorities but has not been charged. While David was on tour, social media has shown evidence proven that the singer had relations with the underage girl. With everything shown on social media, it was showing that David was indeed a homicidal maniac who bloody murdered a young runaway teen.

But why did it take several months????? Before we glanced on why it took so long. Let's look at the evidence and proof that the internet has dug up for the past seven months.

His Songs

His songs were key evidence in his case involving the deceased. In his music videos: “Romantic Homicide”, “Here with Me”, there were young girls who looked like a reflection of Celeste.

In the D4VD anime music video, D4VD's alter ego slices a young girl's arm off. In the Romantic Homicide, the lyrics were foreshadowing the death of a girl (Celeste) that he doesn’t care about.

For instance:

Half of the other lyrics were just foretelling, like this dude just straight up snitched on himself.

An unreleased, leaked song on Spotify, called “Celeste”. The song may sound sweet; it was horrifically haunting for an adult man singing a song about a teenager. 🤔

Just to let you all know, I am refusing to post D4VD's music videos because of how disturbing David has been to this young lady, despite his talent.

She Surface

In all the social media platforms, there was evidence of Celeste appearing in his Instagram stories. Some of his videos showed her appearing and then sneaking away from the live, also hiding her face. Clearly, we could see that it is Celeste.

The most disturbing video was when David and Celeste were livestreaming together, but it didn't seem like they weren't a couple.

In the livestream, Rivas joked about raping kids, leading them to end the stream and David demands to "delete everything". There’s even more evidence that I cannot explain, but if you watch this YouTube channel, you will see there is more evidence that shows he is guilty.

On April 23, the SAME DAY that his tickets went on SALE, Celeste met up with David, which would be last time she was seen alive. About a week later, he mutilated her body.

He went on tour in August 2025. While on tour, he was wearing bloody clothes and having caskets and funerals at his shows, while her body rotted in his car. Gore and death and murder were his themes and deathly disturbing merch. He planned to continue performing after they informed him that they found her body in his car.

His discord knew. Celeste’s brother and her family knew. They tried to tell the cops. But the cops became involved when it was too late. As the LAPD have stated, evidence will show that he killed her for “financial gain,” as she was a minor, and a threat to his growing music career.

Burke has been charging him with 3 sets of charges:

(1) 1st degree murder with special circumstances (special circumstances: lying in wait, financial gain, murdering a witness (Celeste) in an investigation (sexual acts with minors))

(2) continuous sexual and lewd acts with a child

(3) mutilating a human body

It is alleged there are MORE VICTIMS that David has been dating underage girls like wtf. According to the Sloan YouTube channel, David has been with other girls who are allegedly underage or the same age as Celeste. I'm pretty sure and was planning to expose their relationship. But who knows the investigation is ongoing.

According to his attorney and Burke's family, they stand by Burke, and Burke himself has maintained his innocence. Celeste's family statement was released:

"Celeste was a beautiful, strong girl who loved to sing and dance. Every Friday night was movie night, and we spent wonderful times together. We love her very much, and she always told us that she loved us. We miss her deeply." Statement from Celetse's family attorney.

Even if D4VD was framed for the murder, why was he with Celetse? Plus, he was a grown-ass man with a thriving music career who had no business with a teenage girl. Also, the Celeste family has failed her. They should have known what Celeste was up to and checked her social media; if they had, or met David, she would’ve still been alive by now. This is the same situation with other teenage girls who use social media to talk with adult men because it can lead to legal trouble. But what I don't understand is why it took several months when everyone on social media. The authorities should have dug deep. Hopefully, there will be justice for Celeste.
