Frozen Christmas: A Tale of Horror that Left Forever Marks

It was Christmas Eve in the small Vila Gélida, where winter punished the streets with its merciless cold. The houses decorated with flickering lights seemed to fight against the darkness that settled in the deserted streets. A blizzard began to fall, covering everything in a silent, white blanket.

The Thompson family was gathered in the living room of their cozy home, eager to celebrate the festive night. Children laughed as they opened their presents, and the aroma of roast turkey wafted through the air. However, something seemed to disturb the tranquility of the village. The residents began to exchange nervous glances, as if they felt a sinister presence hovering over them.

As the night progressed, the happy sounds were gradually replaced by whispering murmurs and indefinite scratching. The Christmas tree in the central square, a symbol of joy and light, began to sway as if haunted by an invisible force. The lights flickered and flickered erratically, forming dancing shadows on the walls.

The wind was howling outside, but there was something more to that sound, something that sent shivers down the spine of anyone who heard it. At midnight, the lights in the village flickered and went out completely. Pitch took over, and the silence became deafening.

The Thompson family, now worried, gathered in front of the fireplace with flickering lanterns. That's when they started to hear shuffling footsteps approaching the house. An intense cold permeated the room, and a dark shadow seemed to materialize on the doorstep.

The door creaked slowly open, revealing a tall, hooded figure. His face was hidden in shadow, but his eyes shone with an unearthly glow. The figure whispered unintelligible words, casting a spell that made the flames in the fireplace flicker.

The festive atmosphere instantly disappeared, giving way to an icy atmosphere of fear. The hooded figure began to advance, and those present under the tree transformed into shadowy creatures that writhed and hissed.

The Thompson family desperately tried to close the door, but an invisible force prevented it from moving. The hooded figure now loomed over them, laughing chillingly. The lights flickered again, and the entire village was plunged into darkness.

On Christmas morning, when the first rays of sunlight broke through the clouds, Vila Gélida was unrecognizable. The houses were empty, the lights were off, and no signs of life remained. The villagers had disappeared, leaving behind only the memory of a terrible night that would haunt the village forever.

The sun rose over Vila Gélida, but it brought neither warmth nor comfort. A feeling of emptiness hung in the air as the first rays illuminated a desolate landscape. The snow, which once covered the streets with its purity, now hid the dark secrets that the night of terror had left behind.

Investigators were called in to examine what was left of the village. The empty houses, the Christmas decorations now covered in a thin layer of ice, and the trees devoid of any sign of life created an atmosphere more sinister than any freezing winter could provide.

The investigators, determined to unravel the mystery, followed the footprints in the snow that led to the central square. There, they found the Christmas tree, which seemed to have absorbed the darkness of the previous night. The lights still flickered faintly, as if they were the last remnants of an evil magic.

As they explored further, they discovered an old book forgotten in the square, covered in a layer of ice. It was an ancient grimoire, full of dark incantations and rituals that summoned unknown entities. Among the yellowed pages was an illustration that matched the hooded figure seen on Christmas Eve.

Investigators realized that something ancient and hidden had been awakened that night. The dark magic that had infiltrated the village had taken away not only its inhabitants, but also its essence, leaving behind a place condemned to eternal abandonment.

Determined to undo the evil that had ravaged Frostville, investigators began studying the grimoire in search of answers. They discovered that only a purification ritual, to be performed next Christmas Eve, could free the village from this curse.

The year passed slowly, and the next Christmas Eve arrived. The investigators returned to Vila Gélida, prepared to face the unknown. With lit candles and ancestral rituals, they tried to undo the black magic that imprisoned the village.

As the last incantation was uttered, the snow began to melt, revealing a distorted view of what had once been a welcoming place. The outlines of houses and trees became visible again, and a subtle warmth began to replace the icy embrace that previously dominated the village.

But as they looked around, they noticed something was different. The marks of that terrifying night still remained, and the Cold Village would never be the same again. Dark magic had left its indelible mark, transforming the once festive village into a haunted place, where darkness and ice would dance eternally under the Christmas moonlight.
