A homicide examination has been sent off following a 16-year-old kid was wounded to death.

The youngster was gone after by two individuals wearing covers in Rawnsley Park in Bristol on Wednesday.

The casualty rushed to Stapleton Street, where a driver helped him, before he imploded in West Road, Old Market, and passed on at the scene.

Police have proclaimed a basic occurrence subsequent to being called to West Road at 18:00 GMT.

While formal ID of the casualty has not yet occurred, Avon and Somerset Police (ASP) said his family had been educated.

'Awful conditions'

In a proclamation, the power said the assault was a "distinct update" of the "horrendous effect" blade wrongdoing had on networks.

Avon and Somerset Police added: "The A420 was shut down between West Road and the Lawrence Slope traffic circle to permit detectives to look at the scene however has since returned for the time being. A cordon stays set up in Rawnsley Park.
