The emperor asked him

On the morning after Aladdin's palace had been removed, the Emperor got up early as usual. He opened his window and found that the splendid new palace opposite the palace was gone. There was only the empty, flat ground left. He was so surprised that he shuddered with terror. He rubbed his eyes to prove that he was right, and after a long time of careful observation proved that he was right, and that the palace in front of him had indeed disappeared. Tears flowed from his eyes and ran down his cheeks, wetting his beard.

He had no choice but to summon the prime minister to the palace in a hurry.

When the prime minister went to see the Emperor, he was surprised to see him crying and crying. He said, "Please forgive me, Your Majesty! Ask God to protect your Majesty from every calamity. I am shocked and saddened to see your Majesty in such distress. I beg Your Majesty to explain what has happened."

"Do you really not know what happened to me, or are you pretending?"

"Lord, I swear to God, I don't know anything about it."

'So you obviously didn't notice Aladdin's palace today?'

"My Lord, I did not notice the palace. It must have been locked and not opened."

"How can you say such a thing when you don't see it? Now get up and look out of the window. Can you say it's locked and not open?"

The prime minister approached the window and looked out. Only then did he see that the opposite side of the palace was empty. Perplexed, he went back to the emperor in silence. The emperor asked him, "Now do you know the cause of my sorrow? Can you tell me where the palace is now?"

"Some time ago, my Lord, I reminded Your Majesty that this palace was the work of an extraordinary man, but the product of magic and sorcery."

When the emperor heard this, he was furious and shouted furiously, "Where is Aladdin?"

"He's gone up the mountain hunting." The prime minister replied softly.

The emperor hurriedly ordered the guard to set out to capture Aladdin.

The guards and their attendants went up into the mountains to look for him. In the hunting area they found Aladdin and said to him earnestly: "Aladdin, our master! I beg your pardon and don't blame us. Because we are here to arrest you by order of the Emperor. We dare not disobey orders!"

Aladdin heard the words of the guard, and was so surprised that he could not have prepared himself for them. When he had collected himself a little, he said to his guards: "Do you know why the Emperor ordered my arrest? Have I offended the old man, or have I committed treason?"

"O our master! We are only on a mission to arrest you, and for what reason we have no idea."

Aladdin got down from his horse and said frankly to the guards: "Since it is the emperor's decree, do as he says."

Reluctantly, the guards put Aladdin in chains and marched him into the city. The people could not believe it when they saw that the arrested man was Aladdin. Because Aladdin was modest, generous, kind, and always sympathetic to the poor, he had always won their support and affection. The news of his arrest spread quickly, and people began to see for themselves whether what they had heard was true or not. Along the way, more and more people gathered, and everyone shed tears of sympathy. Some asked angrily: Why should Aladdin be arrested? Some of the guards also took pity on Aladdin and tried to plead for him.

The guards took Aladdin to the palace, and immediately reported the arrest to the emperor. The emperor immediately ordered Aladdin to be pushed out and beheaded.

The executioner was ordered to lay down a cushion of leather, put Aladdin on his knees, cover his eyes with strips of cloth, then draw out his sword and walk round him in a circle until the Emperor gave the last word of execution.

As soon as the news got out that the Emperor was going to execute Aladdin, people came from all directions. They surrounded the palace and sent men to the emperor with their advice: "If Aladdin is in the least danger, we will at once raze your palace and bury you and all the others in it."

The Emperor was warned, and the chancellor knew that the angry crowd would do what they said. In order to calm things down, he remonsteredthe emperor in time, saying, "Your Majesty, this order will soon destroy our lives. We must revoke it at once and forgive your son-in-law. Otherwise, the reckless behavior of the people will bring great disaster to us. For they love Aladdin far more than we do."
