Prompt: What makes you feel nervous, no matter how many times you do it?

Prompt: What's something you're willing to splurge on?

First prompt answers:

John's answer without hesitation is speaking in a large group.

Mine is training with a large group of people that do the work I did. Even though it has gotten easier, there is still that nervousness. It has helped when someone suggested thinking of the feeling as excitement. It doesn't always fit, but in spite of that it does help.

Second prompt answers:

John said again without hesitation Dairy Queens Mocha Moolatte. He orders the cheapest food item but doesn't skip the Mocha.

My answer didn't come easily, so I went back to John and said, What is mine? He said again without any thought, "Anything, as long as you are spending your money!" My answer is shoes. I never hesitate to spend money on shoes when I need them or want to treat myself to a cute pair.

Prompt: What dating advice would you give to someone younger than you?

Prompt: What game do you wish they offered at the casino?

Third prompt answer:

John laughed and started this comment, "I would tell them when they grab the womans ass to grab firm." I said, you would not tell our Grandsons that. Then I said, you wouldn't say that to Paxton (12) or Austin (19). He said, "Yes, I would! If they asked me for dating advice, I would."

Okay, he was right as they are not going to ask their Grandpa for dating advice as you just never know what he is going to say!

Then I asked what he would tell our 20 year old grandson that doesn't date and he said, "I would tell him to be himself! Don't try to be someone you are not!"

I liked his second answer and I would probably say the same.

Then I would talk about advice I have given some smart beautiful young women who were ready for a long term relationship. Their smarts and beauty can be intimidating to guys.

I told them to do 3 feng shui moves. 1) Make room in your closet for another. 2) make sure you can get in on both sides of your bed and 3) Put pictures up on your walls of couples.

Fourth prompt answer:

John said, "What game don't they have?"

I said, A game you would play? We don't go to the casino, so we really don't know what all they have. What game do you like?

Then he said cribbage. Maybe a cribbage tournament.

My answer to this question is that I don't even spend a penny, so even though I end up in Casinos for my job over the years, I don't play the machines. My daughter and I were in there a while back and she wanted to play chicken machines.

They had two chicken machines, both being used, and she won on another machine while we were waiting. When we moved to the chicken machines she didn't win, so she cashed out with a nice win.

Winning makes me nervous as we can be fooled into thinking it will happen again next time. The thing to remember is that the Casinos are there to make money, just like the carnivals on their games of chance. They aren't there to give money away. And gambling is addictive.

Author's Note: It is fun catching John when he is lifting weights as he answers quickly to get rid of me and to get back to lifting! If we have time and are just sitting around, I don't get the cooperation I get when he is busy with something.
