DARLEEN'S PHONE. Runner-Up in I Made It Worse Challenge.
The music was still playing inside, though it no longer sounded like a wedding. Voices drifted out into the garden in brief bursts: someone shouting a name, a glass breaking, waiters trying uselessly to calm people who no longer wanted to be calmed.

The Loneliness Nobody Talks About
There is a particular kind of loneliness that has nothing to do with being alone. It is the loneliness of sitting at a table for two in a restaurant and watching the host's face shift when you say it is just you. It is the loneliness of attending a wedding where every conversation eventually lands on whether you have brought someone. It is the loneliness of a Sunday afternoon when it seems like the whole world has paired off and retreated behind closed doors, and you are somehow the only one left outside.

Who Is the Killer of the World?
Who Is the Killer of the World? The world is a beautiful place filled with mountains, rivers, forests, oceans, animals, and billions of human beings. Nature provides everything needed for life: clean air, fresh water, food, and shelter. However, today the world is facing serious problems such as pollution, war, climate change, hunger, violence, and destruction of natural resources. Many people ask an important question: “Who is the killer of the world?” The answer is simple but painful. Humans themselves are becoming the biggest killers of the world through greed, selfishness, hatred, and carelessness.

I Ruined My Relationship
I ruined my relationship. It was the fear that gripped my throat after he got down on one knee. After the rush of love and excitement that I felt for the man I spent so many long years with the moment I had been so desperate for had finally come. I said yes! Of course I did, I had given everything for this man. I had changed myself, reworked and reshaped myself for him, but… why didn’t it feel right? Why did the rush of being engaged fade so quickly? Sitting in the car while he went into the store to grab a tool for work after having just proposed his love to me, why did it fade? Why did the smile slide off my face as I stared at that ring? That beautiful, glittering jewel that I never thought I’d be lucky enough to finally see on my finger only left my throat feeling dry. My heart sunk… Then the thoughts whirled around in my head, chasing each other faster and faster.

How Beijing Shapes Global Sanctions
China’s Strategic Veto: How Beijing Shapes Global Sanctions In the complex arena of international diplomacy, few tools carry as much weight as economic sanctions. They are designed to pressure governments, deter aggression, and enforce global norms without resorting to military force. Yet, the effectiveness of sanctions often depends not only on intent but on consensus—particularly within the United Nations Security Council. Here, one country’s decision can shift the entire outcome, and China has increasingly used its position to influence that balance.

A wedding Story
I am a fan of rom-coms those are released during late 90’s or early 2000’s. Maybe I was a teenager and had a great faith in romantic love stories- that’s why. So now I am close to my 40s and still enjoy watching those cult movies. I was watching 27 dresses today- because I got a total lazy day in months. I am also waiting for my period to come and my period tracker says it is already 3 days late. I am having some pains on my inner thighs, lower abdomen and back but no period yet! Whatever while finishing the movie it reminded me of my own wedding.

Double Standards with Teenagers Dating
When I was a teenager, I had my share of experiences, including dating, which became the worst of my life. But when it comes to teenagers and dating, it can be an experience of finding true love or a future husband or wife. Or better yet, who knows if teenagers would ever find a soulmate in high school, or in college, or better yet, in a childhood friend.

All The Light in The Room
I leave the lamp on, and the choice hits me all at once, like something that can’t be taken back. My shirt is already on the floor. I remember pulling it over my head without thinking, easy in the moment, automatic. Standing here with nothing between me and the light feels different. The air finds everything. My breasts hang lower than I want them to. There is no correcting it in this light. They shift when I breathe. My stomach rests forward, soft, moving with me instead of holding still the way I always wish it would. My thighs press together and stay there, taking up the space they take up whether I agree with it or not. I feel all of it, a full awareness I usually cut off before it gets this far.

She Kept Everyone's Darkest Secrets — Until One Destroyed Her
here was a girl in my neighborhood who knew everything about everyone. Not because she snooped. Not because she pried. Because people simply told her — at 2 a.m. over the phone, in the back of parked cars, in bathroom stalls at parties she hadn't even wanted to attend. They told her things they had never spoken aloud. And she listened. Every single time.
