you are empowered and it is how you should see yourself
The sun was setting as Mary walked home from a long day of work. She was exhausted, but she was looking forward to getting home and relaxing for the evening. She was just about to turn the corner when she heard footsteps behind her.
Mary turned around and saw a man walking quickly towards her. He was wearing a hood and had his hands in his pockets. She could feel her heart racing and her stomach turning as she watched him approach.
The man grabbed Mary's arm and started dragging her down the street. Mary screamed for help, but nobody was around. All she could do was try to break free from his grip. She struggled and kicked, but his grip was too strong.
Suddenly, a car pulled up beside them and a woman jumped out. She yelled at the man to let Mary go and he reluctantly released her. Mary was shaken, but she was relieved to be free.
The woman drove Mary home and explained that she had seen the man following Mary and had called 911. Mary was so grateful for the woman's help and thanked her for stepping in.
The next day, Mary reported the incident to the police and filed a restraining order against the man. She was scared, but she was determined to stand up for herself and take back her power.
Mary pressed charges and the man was arrested. He was eventually convicted and sentenced to prison.
Mary was relieved that justice had been served. She had survived her physical assault and was proud of herself for standing up to her attacker. She had shown strength and courage in the face of fear and was determined to never let anyone take away her power again.
