Vishal got woke up when he listens to the crying tone. He went near her and taken her hand into his hand. “Achhu, What happened?” He started adjusting hair dropped on her face.

He calls his wife Archana as Achhu.

Her voice was trembling and the moonlight was dropping on her face clearly showing her tears.

He put his hand on her and pulled her to his side. Her head resting on his arm.

“What happened?” He asked again. She said, “Vishhu, I think I am not perfect for you.”

She calls her husband Vishal as Vishhu.

Her tears dropped on his arms and then on the bed sheet.

The wind on the late summer night was witnessing the unimaginable pressure between their thoughts and breathes.

“Acchu, why do you think like that?” he started caressing her hair.

She was breathing slowly while seeing the scar on her stomach. “This scar.” She has shown him the scar.

He asked, “What this scar reminds you?”

She replied with a deep voice, “It’s been a year we lost the baby even after C-Section.”

He became silent. “Vishu, I am sorry.” She hugged and put her head on his chest. She started listening to his heartbeat. It was normal.

“Acchu, I feel it’s been a year since God gifted my “baby” back after a serious delivery problem.”

He made a baby face.

She giggled and said, “You! You know the magic how to make me live through this.”

She caressed his hair and asked, “What do you want?”

He said, “Nothing dear. Stay with me till my last breath whatever happens.”

“But Vishhu, don’t you think our marriage is incomplete without children?”

He smiled and said, “Don’t you think we are babies for each other.” She nodded her head.

He sensed she is unable to tell that she wants a child. The process of strain she has gone through for the first delivery made her weak.

“Can we adopt a baby?” He said abruptly. Her face glowed with the new light.

“Vishhu, are you asking me really?” She became excited.

“Yes.” He said and held her hand.

Her inner voice started controlling her that she cannot take go through the questions of the family regarding adoption.

She said, “Vishhu, what about our parents? Will they agree on this?”

“It gives me the feeling that because of my condition, we are going to adopt a baby.”

He said. “Achhu, marriage is a mutually driving vehicle. It is not like you are a spare part if you have got a problem. There is nothing called a perfect couple.”

“Every couple has to go through the hurdles, they have to accept each other and it makes them equal persons in the relationship.”

“I hope we can convince our parents.” He grabbed her and relaxed her with a cuddle.

The kiss was just waiting to make their lips closer and the moon closed his door curtain and decided not to disturb this couple.
