Prologue
To all my fellow creators
Why do you share your work and journey with your social network? Nobody cares about what you do in your life. ⏩This! How often do we come across this statement? The argument for instant gratification that we gain while sharing glimpses or content about our journeys being detrimental for us, in the long run, is completely valid. The validation that we crave from external realms often stems from a lower sense of self-esteem.

A Teenagers View
I am only 16 years old, yet I have questioned these exact things countless times. I have looked into the mirror, and not known who or what I really saw. You may be thinking ‘thats natural for a teenager, they are bound to question themselves because that is the process of finding yourself’ and maybe your right. Borderline Diaries
When I was Diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, or BPD for short, I was mortified. “Oh my god, I’m a nutcase?!” I practically cried out to my psychiatrist the moment he told me, as if the fact I was just released from a mental institution weeks ago wasn’t enough of a clue. Apparently I had my disorders confused and I had the idea that I had Multiple personalities like the insane asylum people on television. Then, he explained it to me, and I replied, “I’m still crazy though.” I was on the verge of tears, again, at this point. Depression I could handle, sadness was my normal. Anxiety? Bring it on, I’m always anxious, I know this. But this? This was something different entirely, that effected my entire knowledge base of who the hell I was as a person.

The Dealer. Content Warning.
Standing on the edge of the train tracks with a beer bottle in my hand, I looked down at the murky water below and what lay just beyond it, the abyss. I was too chicken to pull the trigger in the bedroom where I knew mom would find me. In the end, I opted for the rope I found in Joe’s garage. Had I timed it correctly, I would’ve let the train do the job of sending me off. I closed my eyes, the fibers of the noose scratching my neck, and, in order not to lose my resolve, I allowed the events of the last couple of days to play through my mind.
