No one commands the soul. It stays where it is enchanted." A quote by Fernando Pessoa that fascinates me. I have always been a human being who lived through the soul, through feeling, and I always stopped where I was enchanted. I have never wished for something defined by physical or intellectual ideals. I have always been fascinated by the details of simple things, those things that few people notice and most ignore. This is true for people and everything else. I have always made my soul the compass of my heart, even knowing that it is not infallible and that it has often hurt me by leading me to paths and places that caused me pain. But I realized that everything works in a greater consciousness, that every path that leads to something magical has inhospitable places disguised as wonderful gardens. If it weren't like this, we wouldn't be able to see everything from different perspectives, and we wouldn't be able to put the best virtues of our essence into practice.

The soul is not only nourished by love but also by different emotions that foster that love: forgiveness, compassion, kindness, etc. It is our soul that values us the most as human beings. Those who live only by the body drag their existence through ideals that do not belong to them, through a story that should not be theirs. There are people who define the place where they want to stay, not the one that enchants their soul. They are the enchanters of their mind, those who live to feed their ego and hide behind a mask that they believe can deceive even their own soul. No one is enchanted by security, material possessions, a life of appearances, or a path drawn by oneself that causes frustration with every shortcut that the universe makes us take. Along the way, the only thing we should expect is for it to put its magic and surprise into action, not in a directionless way but in a way that the soul, hand in hand with God, walks the path that has been traced for us. God does not lead us on the path of the mind, which thinks it needs things and not emotions—paths where we collect objects and discard unique moments that make the soul vibrate. On the path of God, the soul stays where it is enchanted, and it is enchanted by so much. Any detail on God's path is another point of light that remains in us, a light that we carry forever in our hearts.

The path of God, where a confident soul walks, the path that has written faith on every signpost, is often misunderstood.

God makes us enchanted with things that hurt us, with things that we end up getting attached to because we forget our soul and the path we're on. But God is not evil or cruel; God doesn't choose between good and evil; He chooses what is right for us, choosing to make us hurt in order to later make it worth it and give meaning to everything.

Therefore, let us be grateful for every place where we have been enchanted, for every place where we have cried, where we have doubted ourselves, and even for God's path. Everything always makes sense on the path of faith, but like a magical path designed just for you, we will never know what we will see on it. So, more than yearning or being afraid of what we may see or desiring something that our mind may deem as a scepter for us, let us enjoy the moment. Even in our storms on the path, there is always the blessing of something simple that we can transform into light and keep in our hearts.

The soul is free, and no one commands it; the soul is an extension of God and His light. If God is love, if God is everything, then through the eyes of the soul, any small detail can have and be enchanting. Stay where it is enchanted.
