There’s a lot of factors as a customer that you run into with taking care of your eyelash extensions. Before meeting your lash technician/artist and after leaving that appointment. I’m here to share some tips and tricks that help you with having a good relationship with your favorite lash babe and having better retention down the road.

I know we all want our lashes to stay on forever because it makes you feel great. Great without makeup and especially when we’re all wearing a mask right now, it makes your eyes pop even more.

Here are some pointers before coming into the appointment down below

- Don’t drink coffee before the appointment

Why? We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during the appointment because you’ll be laying down for at least a couple of hours

- Wear a mask 24/7

Protect yourself! Protect me :)

- Bring a blanket or a jacket

Stay warm! Humidity does matter when it comes to applying lashes, as we try to keep the place at its optimal temperature it can get chilly, especially during the cold seasons

- Don’t wear make-up

During the procedure it can get messy because of the close contact & any oils near the lashes can disrupt the adhesive glue

- Arrive on time

Arriving on time helps me plan better for you and helps other clients get their lashes on time throughout the day as well

I want to emphasize not wearing makeup & arriving on time. As a lash technician, we encourage you not to wear makeup because it takes a lot of time in the beginning for us when we see dirty lashes and washing in and out. It saves a lot of time for you to come in and out of the day because you lay there for around 2 to 3 hours, and I’m sure you don’t want to lay there any longer. Therefore, arriving on time is crucial. Lash technicians have back-to-back appointments they created and prepped the time for you to be there on the dot. They have prepared their station for you so that they are able to work at their max potential. You don’t want to have one side with fewer eyelashes vs the other side, right?

Aftercare tips:

- Avoiding wetting your lashes for the next 24 hours after the appointment so the adhesive can dry. (4 - 6 hours is also recommended)

- Learn how to do a lash bath! Recommended at least twice a week

- After every shower, brush your lashes gently and careful having heavy showers & drying your face

- Avoiding using a curler when you have your extensions, it can damage your natural lashes and cut them off (not to scare you, but yes, it does happen)

- Don’t perm or tint lashes while you have extensions on, please book a schedule to remove them beforehand if planning to do so

- Try not to sleep in a position where your face is against the pillow

- Avoid oils near the lashes, they will fall faster than expected

- Don’t use mascara, using mascara can clump the lashes together

- Don’t pull, pick or play with your lashes

The aftercare is important for you and for your technician. Helps with the retention so you can have long-lasting lashes and when you come back for a fill, it’s a fast appointment and time is shorter. I hope these tips help you whether you are getting your lashes done for the first time or if you’re already getting them often.

I didn't know or imagined not drinking coffee before the appointment, I mean, I'm a man, but learning about this kind of thing makes me understand women more, I can't believe they have to take all this care alone to use a pair of false eyelash extensions and everything to look more beautiful, the effort that women make is incredible

This article really has good advice, I have shown it to my sister who uses false eyelash extensions for years and she has confirmed that the advice is useful, she has also said that if she knew any of the ones she names here she would have avoided certain problems that she had had, for which I repeat, excellent article

thanks for the advice, I obviously don't use eyelash extensions, but my girlfriend does and I wanted to give her some good eyelash extensions, so all the information I read on the internet is extremely useful to me, like this post

False eyelashes are one of the beauty products. Artistic design is used for the eye area, and the lashes tend to show an elven temperament. Individual mink eyelash extension https://stacylash.com/mink-eyelash/ is simply mesmerizing. Your eyelashes will look beautiful and will please you very much. They will be just like your own lashes, only much fuller and longer.

These are very important tips for eyelash extensions. But it is equally important to find a good supplier of quality eyelash extension materials. To cooperate with him for a long time.
