The Memes Of Ruby And The Mystery Cats
I Thought Caroline Did The Ruby and the Mystery Cats Memes But It Is Chris The Bassist

I have only met Caroline Wilkinson once, she was performing at the Cluny 2 playing an Iggy Pop song but she is also Ruby of Ruby and the Mystery Cats, a red hot rockabilly rock and roll combo vaguely located around Tyneside.
I am working on an article about my favourite local bands, past and present, and there is a spot for them in there but this is just about the memes Caroline's bassist has created to advertise the band. You can check them out on Facebook here. The laconic Ruby and The Mystery Cats website is here with contact information and a lovely background graphic.
So the Ruby and The Mystery Cats are:
- Caroline / Ruby - Vocals and miscellaneous instuments
- Chris A - Double Bass and Memes.
- James - Guitar
- Chris B - Drums
Now my problem is that I have to write six hundred words when what I actually want to do is share a load of funny memes. I am wondering how to do that. I have found a way, by writing a commentary on the source or subject of the meme. You may know what some of them are about and if you don't then hopefully I can enlighten you.
Obviously, every meme is for an actual event but even so, this may be a close-run thing, so you may get information about the venues if I can find it, maybe some videos of Ruby and the Mystery Cats and their music.
Right, in no particular order (well probably reverse time order) we will start here.
August Bank Holiday 2022 - Whitley Bay Beer Festival.
These are the many memes for the above event although the lead picture for this article belongs to this collection.

A totally laid-back meme for this example, don't you think?

Scruby Doo ?

Even Brad and Leo are going to be there

And channelling some Monty Python and The Holy Grail if I have got this one right.
Six Gigs At Lotherton Hall

And bringing Homelander in to promote these gigs. Antony Starr does play one of the greatest villains ever in "The Boys", in my opinion outdoing Joffrey Baratheon in "Game of Thrones" played so brilliantly by Jack Gleeson that he got attacked in the street for his role despite being one of the nicest people you can meet.
The Deep from "The Boys"has also been roped in to Ruby's Meme Fest.

And you know Homer Simpson was going to make an appearance.

Channelling PG Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster for this Lotherton Hall Meme.

And the Lionesses were ensnared by the temptation of Ruby and The Mysterty Cats at the Lotherton Hall Vintage Fair. And if the Lionesses are not high profile enough you can always rope in Her Majesty The Queen.

But maybe you really just need to share your crown jewels under the sheets.

This is the End of the Meme Fest
There have been so many memes coming out for Ruby and The Mystery Cats gigs that I was surrise dthat they only cover two events, although I know this is just the start , but there are many othe fun adverts that the band have put together for gigs or just because they are actually funny.
I saw this one and immediately read RATMC as Rage Against The Machine (possibly a Scottish variation). I am not sure what a Rivelino is, but a footballer of the same name may have played for Middleborough.

I really hope that you have enjoyed these memes and please check out their music, if you like rock and roll you will love Ruby and The Mystery Cats.
