Jada in performance "Jada is an awesome collaborator, and we’ve also grown to become friends. She’s like my sister and has been there for me not only as a writer but as someone I could count on when I was going through my ups and downs throughout the making of my EP and album. I’m really grateful to her, she is such a genuine but strong woman.”— gifted songwriter Lindita at Einnor Studios in Atlanta

I love Lil Nas X but what the f**k. Grammy Winner Lil Nas X released his music video "J Christ" and honestly it was way unbelievable like it was crazy.
Gladys W. MuturiPublished 4 months ago in BeatBack to Black : a review and tribute to Amy Winehouse
Amy Jade Winehouse a true talent who tragically passed away way before her time. Amy was a true original she was a revival of new jazz and 60’s soul. Amy was in a class by herself and she was a true original. Her voice was incredible, her musicianship fantastic, and her songwriting amazing. Unfortunately, bad choices and personal heartbreak cut her young life short and her promising career never became what it was destined to be. Her album “Back to Black” an album of 60’s revival and I loved the album it was fresh and exciting the album.
Rikki la rougePublished 4 months ago in BeatWhat actually inspires Taylor Swift to make music?
Whether people like it or not, Taylor Swift is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the music industry right now. I, personally, am more of a Kanye West fan than a Taylor Swift fan. But I cannot deny that Taylor Swift is rocking the charts and inspiring millions, if not billions of people across the globe with her music. Each of the Taylor Swift songs have always been a success even though they dealt with the theme of heartbreak. And there were always rumours that these songs were directed at men who had passed through her life and had left a void in her heart.

Maame AppiahPublished 4 months ago in BeatDrake: How a boy from Toronto became a global superstar?
Imagine the kid who lived next door, or the kid you used to have lunch with in school become a superstar that the world loves. Well, that's what happened to everyone who knew Drake. The one and only Champagne Papi, Aubrey Drake Graham, was born October 24, 1986, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of Dennis Graham, an African-American musician born in Memphis, Tennessee, and Sandi (Sher) Graham, a Canadian Jewish educator.

In 1997,Boy George and Culture Club partnered with music television network VH1 to do a reunion tour which was a smashing success all around. At the time VH1 had a concert series called “Storytellers” where bands would perform in an intimate setting for a small group of fans and do what else tell the stories of their careers, how certain songs had come to be, and naturally sing the songs as well. Culture Club did a “Storytellers” and it was great and out of that special came what would be their first live album to my knowledge. I got recorded on a video tape and watched it over and over and over again.

Rick Henry ChristopherPublished 5 months ago in BeatAre These Folk Songs?
Introduction While researching songs for articles that I share in UK & Irish Folk Music 60s-80s I started thinking of songs by non-folk artists that could be considered folk songs. Folk music often documents the zeitgeist, as well as telling stories and including love songs and lost love songs, all of which are seen across all genres of music.

Little Sister
I am a huge fan of the South African duo which consists of sisters Jenni Lonmon and Debbi Lonmon. Of course, I'm biased as Jenni took care of my mom for six months and bonded with her, and became best friends with her, and has been the source of much laughter and great times for me.
