How is the availability of music shaping the modern human being?
Golden Age, that's one way to describe the times we are living in, a world where everything is available at the edge of our fingertips, whether it's education or entertainment, we have access to it all. Gone are the days where you had to wait for the radio to play your favourite song or go to a music store to buy album CDs and Vinyl; now all you have to do is ask Siri or Alexa to play your favourite song or click on a music application from Play store to look for an album. Rather than paying for tangible hard copies of albums, we are paying money online for the digital file to be saved on our phone, even at times paying is often optional due to the existence of streaming applications, so most people pay because they want to support their favourite musician, not because they need to.Of course, this openness in sharing of music has opened new doors, the audience can easily discover new music, artists, genres and broaden their musical knowledge without worrying about money and can develop a diverse musical taste to an extent which wasn't possible until years ago. The musicians are given access to a wider audience as their music can easily reach wide and even remote areas. It has also encouraged more musicians to pursue music by giving them a platform that is easily accessible. This has helped the musicians connect with more people on a deeper level. Download youtube videos to mp3 People are also experimenting with new ways to experience music like the introduction of 5D and 7D music which aims to give a surreal experience to the listeners. Some musicians are even holding e-concert where they play music live digitally in front of an audience giving the people an opportunity to connect with the artist if they can't attend the concert in real life Spotify, iTunes, SoundCloud, Amazon Music and YouTube are some of the platforms where people are flocking to for new music. One can even find music on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat by discovering new artists and learning about them personally. The option to create and share playlists is also another popular method of discovering and sharing music. This wide field of music is also encouraging regular people to learn instruments or singing or music production since they have a lot of music to learn from and build a foundation on. People are also being a part of Pop Culture due to its popularity in music online. With songs that fall into trending or viral categories, music is slowly building a common ground for people to connect upon.Such availability of music online helps one listen to various genres and easily connect with people from music. It is also increasing fandoms with people coming together to support an artist or genre. People are also listening to music in different languages as a choice and expanding their horizons. They are slowly opening up to cultures and regions by experimenting with music. Quite a lot of people are emotionally dependent on music to help understand and comprehend their emotion by listening to certain genres of music for a certain mood. Music is known to have an impact on a person's brain too and can encourage creativity and productivity too. Download free YouTube videos to MP4 This availability of music means that people don't have to attend concerts or become musicians themselves to get access to music and instead they can just pick up a platform of their choice, select the kind of music they want to listen to and just hit the play button. People who consider life without music to be like scenery without greenery, can easily.

I wrote a 6 song EP. I write lots of songs, really. But the songs in this project actually span several years of my life, and were not originally related. I only saw how they reflect the very raw emotions I felt through those years, and how I had markedly grown as a person, in retrospect. On the album cover, I hoped to illustrate this by using two photos of myself spaced roughly 4 years apart. At the start of this period, I had just gone through a messy breakup, and was freshly addicted to cigarettes. While I didn't realize what a problem it was becoming, I also had begun heavily drinking. I began dabbling in doing party drugs, with friends. Equally impactful to my development at that time, I started going to open mic nights to play music. I had been writing songs for some time, but had never shared them. After a few shaky nights, I learned how to throw off the terror that comes from being on a stage bearing my vulnerabilities to strangers in the form of a song.
What is My Passion?
Introducing My Passion Everybody has something that they are passionate about and it just so happens that mine is music. I love all things to do with music. I took piano lessons from the most amazing piano instructor, who taught me to never give up and stay confident. There were times where I struggled to find the motivation to practice, but I did and I am so glad that my mom and my instructor never let me give up.

Have you ever heard a song, and said to yourself "Oh, I remember this? It was played at that awesome concert." Have you ever heard a song that was playing when you got your first kiss, and then turned to jelly from head to toe? Music can do that; it can trigger memories both good and bad, and it can even evoke tears of happiness, joy or sadness. Take for example, Savage Gardens 'To the Moon and Back,' this one gets me every time, because it reminds me of when me and my now-husband first kissed when we met in a hospital where we were in-patients. The whole ward cheered because they knew we were in love before we even knew it! Memories are worth holding on to, and music has a clever way of reminding us that our memories are to be treasured.

Let's see where do I even start. I am a woman. I am a woman with children who has an immense passion for music. I remember my childhood when I would ask my dad to buy me a pack of TDK blank cassettes. Why? I kinda knew what to do with them but, I only seen my dad recording songs from the radio. Phil Collins played mid 80s, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna and my all time favorite Michael Jackson. There was nothing more I wanted than to listen to my favorite songs over and over.
An Intro
Hello to all that read this. I want to introduce myself to you. I must confess I'm not the best author in the world. I'm not that interesting and I'm definitely not that successful. However, I do wish to share with you my adventures into the 'Music' world and my experience of being a DIY artist. Now, I have been a musician, so to speak for around four years or so. Starting out I thought just practising was the key, while very important, if no one hears your sounds how can you make it your life? So after more practice and then even more practice, I grew to love music. All I wanted to do was music. But how then to do that and earn a living. I had always imagined one day I would wake up and be really successful. All that practise meaning something. That day has not come yet and without tons of work, I dare say it never will.

Martin: "So how did you get your start?" Me: Thinking back nearly 20 years earlier, through the fog and suppressed tears of having watched my mother and best friend die just two weeks earlier and the shock of finding myself stranded in my hometown decades after I left to pursue my life as an artist. I sat in ignorance over the fact that my life was on its road to getting much worse, before it became better than I ever imagined it could. I had one moment in me where I cared and so I answered his genuine inquiry, in kind, with earnestness.

Hey! My name is April Gregory (or Solaire), and I'm a songwriter. I've been writing music since I was in grade school, or more specifically trying to write my first album. With what little experience I had, it had taken me almost 5 YEARS to put together, and I was in the late stages of recording it all to soon release it to the public.

What does music mean to you? For me, its essence in purity ultimately is what drives me to do a lifelong study of everything: delving deep into the inspirations behind the artistry, seeing for whom the composer is, how it affects all of us, and why this language is such that it is the only one universally translated across all cultures and societies. For me, music is all encompassing: as a classical musician studying at a conservatoire I live and breathe it. However, apart from the classical world I draw inspiration and strength from a slew of other genres, and below are a few windows of examples I am ecstatic to share with you.

What a beautiful reaction. There’s nothing quite like the joys of motherhood, at least so I have been told. Earlier this year, singer Simi was blessed with the opportunity to partake in that joy, and even before the actual baby girl, Adejare came out of her, she already felt the joy from within.

Yep, you read that right. I actually got a chance to record at The Red Headed Stranger's studio. It was 2003, if I'm not mistaken. I had just received my certification in audio engineering and I was ambitious. Right afterwards, I was given a brief internship at Willie's other studio (Arlyn) but I wanted, or rather, needed, to be at the original in Pedernales. After some convincing, the studio managers decided to let me record a few bands there. I put an ad out on Craigslist and instantly received inquiries. Being that I lived in the live music capital of the world (Austin), there was no shortage of potential clients.

Bisexual Visibility Week: The Importance of The Aces' "Under My Influence"
Hailing from the conservative town of Provo, Utah, The Aces are an indie-pop band with catchy hooks, impressive guitar riffs, and an irresistible summer vibe. Members Cristal (vocals, guitar), Alissa (drums), Katie (lead guitar, vocals), and McKenna (bass) are self-taught musicians that have been in a band together since they were a young age. However, it was the moment that songwriter Lorde won her first Grammy at age eighteen that inspired the young women to pursue music professionally.
