Change
I think there’s beautiful irony that the fifth album from the Sugababes is called Change. Having survived two line-up changes, is something that would kill off many pop groups, but not Sugababes. With this album, they got their second number one album and their biggest hit, About You Now. It follows nicely from Taller in More Ways and helped them retain their crown as one of the pop girl groups from the UK. The changes they were known for would be the final line-up’s biggest downfall. But at that moment, they were doing alright. It was clear many people were missing Mutya, and some were missing Siobhan too, but they had some good solo albums to listen to from Mutya and Siobhan.

A lot of people have heard of the Grateful Dead , but know nothing of the band and know nothing of their songs. There are also a lot of people who have never heard of the band at all, which give the sheer size of their following , the Dead Heads, is at least a bit of a mystery.
Mike Singleton - MikeydredPublished 3 years ago in BeatCatfights & Spotlights by the Sugababes
With the popularity of the first five albums and the notorious reputation of the last album, it’s a shame that the sixth album of the Sugababes is so overshadowed. It may not have sold as well as the previous five albums, but it’s pleasant album to listen to because I love the 60’s vibes to it and the ballads are lovely. The album does have some weak links, mostly the singles for me because I’m not too keen on them much. The Sugababes have had a fair few flop singles, but they’ve always seemed to bounce back up afterwards.

There’s a lot to be said about the last studio album of the Sugababes. It’s the first and only one to feature Jade Ewen. Keisha was cruelly kicked. Everything that surrounds this album seems to play like a car about to crash and burn. Yes, that pun was intended. The album was delayed a few times, but when the album did leak and was officially released, it made a lot of people angry.

Lorde's new album Solar Power is out and will leave no one, who dares to listen, indifferent. It is considered by Lorde herself as her "weed album". Solar Power is a psychedelic pop and Indie-folk effort driven by acoustic guitar arrangements, marking a new era for the singer-songwriter.
Be Right Back — Album Review
From the very beginning, Jorja Smith grabs the listener by the ears and demands a thoughtful approach in Be Right Back. This album is both melancholy and soulful in a willful approach to love. Travesty seems to carry in the artist’s voice and reverberates in your soul, almost to the point of poignancy. This short album has a certain sound that we don’t necessarily see in American music; as so, I can appreciate the nuance in the dialect and delivery in each song. There is an earthy, jazzy, funky element that is very subtle yet complements the artist so well.

Whatever She Wants: A love letter to Phoebe Bridgers and Punisher
2019, sometime in summer, 5:15am, I woke up on a friend’s couch to the sun shining in my face and the sound of a woman playing an acoustic guitar. "Jesus Christ, I'm so blue all the time. And that's just how I feel, always have and I always will." The lyrics were striking but intriguing nonetheless, I realized I had fallen asleep listening to some album that had clearly long passed, and I was now listening to whatever Spotify had decided I needed to hear that night. I don’t know how much I believe in things like destiny and fate, but I do feel very lucky that my body had chosen to wake me up to that song specifically. I added it to my library and quickly fell back asleep, and for the next year or so I found myself returning to that song more and more. It’s excruciatingly sad, with the main focus of the song literally being a child’s funeral, but it’s a pain that I seemed to tempt myself with more often than was good for me. Even still, I didn’t visit the rest of Phoebe Bridger’s discography until months later. I’m not sure why considering how fond I was of Funeral, but it wasn’t until after her next release that I became the “Pharb” I am today.

The Sinister PenPublished 3 years ago in BeatA Young Artist With Mature Talent: 'Sour' Album Review
There is a reason why Olivia Rodrigo is a rising star. Her debut album, Sour, has mastered the juxtaposition of experienced songwriting and a fresh-faced performance. The only other young artist I know can do that is Taylor Swift, which explains the comparison between the two ladies.

Star-crossed (adj): to be f*cked by love or luck. [See also: “ill-fated”] Kacey Musgraves's "golden hour turned black" with the release of her latest album star-crossed. As we all know, her grammy award-winning album Golden Hour was a honeymoon album that discussed her then-husband Ruston Kelly, in comparison to her newest album that is considered a divorce album. star-crossed is a story of relationship complications, heartbreak, and the art of keeping your head up amidst the pain.
