Born on February 17, 1991, in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England, Ed Sheeran grew up in a family that loved music. His parents, John and Imogen Sheeran, were both art lovers and his father was a curator at an art gallery. Ed was exposed to a variety of musical genres from an early age, including folk, country, and rock. He started playing the guitar at a young age and quickly developed a passion for music.
