The Summer of 2021 is approaching and we are facing a drastically changed Society and World. Although The Rona Virus has been contained to a degree it has not been completely eradicated so Social Life is still in Limbo. Economically the World has been impacted and especially the Music Industry as music festivals and live concerts in venues are a thing of the past.

It’s a new day all about Hologram Concerts; the way it works is that a designated number of people in a particular area sign up for the service and chooses the Artist they wish to see.

A hologram is generated simulating a concert or music festival atmosphere so real you feel like you are at a back in the day concert. The Viewers can actually interact with the Bands and Artists as well as other concert goers. The down size is only the Wealthy can afford such entertainment.

Musicians have created their own world of Musical Reality where you can stream a Musician’s Holograms into your home or venue. Although pricey it is so realistic the viewers cannot tell the difference and embrace it whole heartedly.

It is during this evolution a Superstar emerges….Jimi Jeffrey.

The first big musical event of Summer 2021 is a Benefit Concert for Corona Virus with an outrageous lineup with Gary Clark Jr headlining. The concert was heavily promoted and received enthusiastically with so many signing up for it that two concerts had to be scheduled one for Sunday July 4th and Monday July 5th. The Hype was so crazy that less fortunate folks were banding together financially to afford to stream one of the Concerts. This is going to be the biggest event since the The Rona hit the USA in 2019.

Americans are sequestered in their homes awaiting the BCCV to begin streaming; first the sound, then the hologram back round of concert goers and bands warming up is heard. An invisible announcer names the Artists while viewers listen intently.

“Welcome America to our first big Concert of the summer; performing for you today is Chris Stapleton, Maroon Five, Eric Bibbons, and headlining the great Blues Phenom Gary Clark Jr! Now opening the show is an Artist that Gary discovered, we know you all will dig this original Blues Man too.”

A Rainbow appears across the stage a few seconds go by…a young man glides onto the stage. He is slender but muscular, medium height, with a Black Strat in hand. He tunes the guitar for a hot second then looks up at his audience. Even from the hologram he exudes s-e-x.

“Hello out there…my name is Jimi Jeffrey and I am blessed and thankful to be here. I’ma play some of my songs for you.” He bowed to the audience.

His voice, inflection, and cadence sounded so much like James Marshall Hendrix that it was spooky and uncanny. He wore a Pork Pie Hat over long black dreds, dressed in black skinny jeans emphazing his muscular bowed legs. His high neck black nylon see-through tee shirt showed his chiseled six pack as he inhaled deeply and lowered his head…an iconic pose in itself.

The camera zoomed in when he looked up and embraced his handsome face; caramel complexion, thick black eyebrows, almond-shaped dark eyes, high cheek bones, full lips, black impeccably groomed beard.

He smiled showing white teeth with a gap in the front.

The Telecaster was held by a clear guitar strap that gave it the appearance of floating while he played it. He played an intro that was so unusual and hypnotic that it seemed as if he was levitating on the stage. The other-worldly riffs evoked emotions joyous but sad at the same time.

“I was raised in this mean little city

My heart always knew I was an outsider inside

Never wanted this cruel world’s pity

Beautiful Psychedelic Dragonflies surrounded Jimi Jeffrey on the stage and began to pulsate with the riffs and licks he was hitting. Soon viewers realized the Dragonflies were also in sync with their own heartbeats. A Golden Haze descended on Jimi while he played and his image shimmered ghostly with every note he played.

“Need to make the choices that’ll set you free

Stay True to yourself and your Spirituality

Forces at work Earthly Eyes cannot see

Always casting Shadows on Peaceful remedies

So for the Love of All Mankind

I’ll just be Me

I’m sure Jimi would agree

I’ll just be Me

The viewers went crazy and started sending applause and comments to the streaming service…they all wanted to know who was this guy and where did he come from! They had never seen anything like him and could not wait to see more. Jimi Jeffrey could see the comments and applause on his end and put his two hands together as if in prayer thanking them and symbolizing Namaste.

“This next song is a combination of two of my favorite artists I hope you like what I’ve done with it.”

Again he bowed his head and inhaled deeply.

When he lifted his head and stroked the guitar strings it had a different velvet tone as did his voice…so gentle, soulful, and loving. The notes came alive and like glowing atoms reached out over the airwaves and caressed it’s listeners with an all-encompassing Love. Then the atoms joined the dragonflies in dancing around Jimi Jeffrey distinctly forming a throbbing Heart that now beat to his riffs lovingly.

“Just smile for me and let the day begin

And I’m sure that you’re an Angel in disguise

Come take my hand and together we will rise

Jimi Jeffrey’s voice had a different resonance and tone when he sang this song but abruptly he switched over and his Strat took flight with a lilting life of its own.

“Angel came down from heaven yesterday

She stayed with me just long enough to rescue me

About the sweet love between the moon and the deep blue sea

And then she spread her wings high over me

She said she's gonna come back tomorrow

Jimi Jeffrey looked directly into the camera while singing as if he was looking into one’s soul and for a split second his eyes flashed purple as tears spilled. His voice intoned soul-breaking heartache as he finished the lyrics, bowed, placed his right hand over his heart and then exited the stage.
