The real Jenni Rivera

Jenni Rivera Mariposa Del barrio, is a series that originally aired on Telemundo with a total of close to 100 episodes. The series about the life of the late diva de la Banda Jenni Rivera. The series is so long because it covers everything about her life. In the series, we see Jenny in her humble beginnings as a girl from Long Beach, California, or other words, a humble girl from the barrio. We see her become a woman who fought back against her ex-husband for sexually abusing her, and one or two of her daughters.

Jenny only started singing as a musical gift for her father. She was originally a realtor and raising her daughter cheeky. Jenny had many loves in her life, including one or two who gave her her babies. The Rivera family was already in the music business, and they had a record label called Cinta acuarios. Jenni Rivera’s music was about her life and her loves. Not only that Jenny was a strong woman with a spicy wild side. She even accidentally made a sex tape according to the series. In her career, Jenny had also created her own brand of tequila. At certain points during her concerts, Jenny used to bring out a bottle of her tequila and figuratively toast her audience, and have a drink with them figuratively as well.

Aside from her music, Jenni’s main loves where her children, and she was a wonderful caring and involved mother, regardless of the busy and hectic schedule. She had to keep as a recording artist. The Riveras, Jenny‘s parents had divorced, but threw it all the family remained a close and tighten it unit. Faith in God, and also important part of the families daily life. her brother was a pastor who acted as everyone’s spiritual counsel as well as one of her sisters.

Jenny also had a spiritual turnaround, because later in the series, she decides to re-enter the church, and reestablish her relationship with God. Jenny‘s brother will be Rivera, also had a singing career. I think that he had a career before Jenny had started her own, I’m not sure.

The series was called “ Jenni Rivera, Mariposa Del barrio” for a very good reason and that was because she was known as La Gran Señora in English. It meets the great lady and Mariposa de barrio. Both of these are names of songs that also define her. In English Mariposa Del barrio means butterfly of the neighborhood.

Jenni Rivera certainly is and was and will always be forever and always La grande señora Del barrio yes but also the Mariposa Del barrio without a question. Jenni Rivera tragically lost her life while doing some shows in Mexico. She and some of her crew and staff were on board of plane for a flight to the next date in Mexico, but sadly it was a flight that proved to have fatal consequences.

From viewing the series, it is my personal opinion that Jenni Rivera wasn’t is a symbol of strong feminism. She overcame so much adversity in her life, and her music was a tool that fought against all adversity and things of that nature. Also, in the series we find that Jenni had been raped and triumph against the unfortunate monster that did that to her. It is safe to see that Jenni Rivera was a fighter without a question and any doubt whatsoever. On an unrelated note, I read her autobiography, called unbreakable the version that was published in English, and I enjoyed every page of it Jenny Rivera wrote a really cool autobiography. I got to know and learn a lot about her from reading that book.
