AT HOME PLAYLIST

The Coronavirus flipped our world upside down and now, apart from getting dressed up to put the bins out or to go grocery shopping, we are all at home. The most exciting thing about our days are phone calls from friends or going outside for our government approved exercises.

The truth is, staying at home can be tough. It can be boring and lonely and sometimes the most difficult thing to do is try to put ourselves in a good mood when all the news is screaming “BAD THINGS ARE HAPPENING!”

But I have a solution: music. Here is a song that will cheer you up for every single room in your house.

THE KITCHEN: “Supalonely” – BENEE, Gus Dapperton

Although this song sounds depressing from the title, I can promise you it’s not! This song is well known for being TikTok famous, and it is super catchy and fun. If you are looking for a song that you can dance to while you make breakfast, your dinner or maybe a midnight snack then “Supalonely” is definitely a song you need on repeat.

No matter if you’re cooking, or just walking around your kitchen because you’re bored-hungry (yes, we all know that’s a thing) the power of “Supalonely” will put you in a good mood.

THE LIVING ROOM: “Lost In Japan” – Shawn Mendes

If you are working from home, this song will help you feel better while you write an essay or help you loosen up before that dreaded Zoom call with your boss. It is upbeat and funky, which makes it the perfect bop to chill to.

If you’re not working from home and you’re just chillaxing then pair this song with some nibbles and wine (or whatever drink you fancy) and just vibe!! It’s such a stress reliever having some time to yourself to just do whatever you want and have some great music to accompany you. “Lost In Japan” is the song you need.

BEDROOM - CHILL VIBES: “What’s The Matter” – Milo Greene

I found this song back in the days of season eight “Supernatural”, and although that’s all blood and gore, this song is all about being chill. This is a relaxing tune. Sit on your bed or climb into your covers, and this song will ease you. It is the perfect song for a chill playlist.

BEDROOM - FUN VIBES: “I Love Me” – Demi Lovato

If you don’t need a chill song, but you need a song to scream the lyrics to then “I Love Me” is here to give you everything you need. It’s such a good tune, and super women empowering and uplifting. Demi Lovato really brings the bad-ass vibes with this song.

THE BATHROOM: “Pocketful Of Sunshine” – Natasha Bedingfield

I don’t make the rules. Emma Stone in “Easy-A” makes the rules. This song is the perfect song to sing in the shower, and you can even recreate Emma Stone’s iconic look while you’re at it!

“Pocketful Of Sunshine” is such an uplifting tune, I honestly feel happy every time I listen to it. It will put a smile on your face, I promise.

THE GARDEN: “The Less I Know The better” – Tame Impala

This song is the embodiment of sunshine, being sat in your garden, and having a good time. Now I know not everyone might have a garden, but even if you have some plants in your house then you’ll just have to improvise!

“The Less I Know The Better” is a fun, happy song that will wash all your worries and sadness away. Don’t miss an opportunity to listen to this good tune!

THE GARAGE/DRIVEWAY: “Greased Lightnin’” – Grease Soundtrack

If you are cleaning your car then I’m sorry to say but this is the only acceptable song to listen to while doing such an activity. And if you don’t take this opportunity to use this song, then I’ll be highly disappointed.

As a musical lover, I cannot think of a funnier or more creative way to clean your car/repair your car than with using this audio. 10/10 will definitely be having a laugh with this!
