1. Ailu Valle

Áilu Valle is a Finnish musician and teacher. He was involved in the making of records by well-known Finnish musicians Pummiharmonia and Roolipolunveljeks. His debut album was released in 2012, rapped in his native tongue in hopes of reviving the language. In 2019, he won the state award for children's culture.

2. Beatrice Deer

Beatrice Deer was born 1985 in Eastern Canada. She is of Inuk descent, and released her debut album in 2005, which won an award for best cultural album. In 2021, she received an award at the Canadian Indigenous Music Awards.

3. Monali Thakur

Monali Thakur was born 3 November 1985, and has won several awards for her music and films. She was the judge of a singing reality competition, and placed ninth on Indian Idol. In 2014, she won an award for best female singer in the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. As of 2022, she has more than two million monthly listeners on Spotify, and has won five music awards.

4. Nanook

Nanook was formed in 2008 by brothers Christian and Frederick Elsner, who are half-Inuit and half-Danish. They released their debut album, "Seqinitta Qinngorpaatit" in 2009, and won an award for best album a year later. The brothers own a family record company called Atlantic, under which they were signed.

5. Phyno

Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, born in 1986, is a rapper, record producer, singer, and songwriter. His debut album, supported by four popular singles, was released in 2014. He developed an interest in music production in secondary school, during which time he learned to play the drums and piano, and began learning how to produce music.

6. Despina Vandi

Despina Malea was born in Germany in 1969, and returned to her hometown when she was six years old. Her music career began in the 1990's, when she signed with Minos EMI and released her first two albums: Gela Mou in 1994, and Esena Perimeno in 1996. She has won three Arion Music Awards, ten video music awards, seven pop corn music awards, and a world music award.

7. Stromae

Paul van Haver was born in Belgium in 1985 to a Rwandan father and a Flemish mother. At the age of eighteen, he founded a rap group called Suspicion, which later disbanded. In 2007, he released a debut EP album called "Juste un cerveau, un flow, un fond et un mic". In 2008, he signed his first record deal. His first single, featured in the above video, reached number one in twelve countries upon its release.

8. Pol Granch

Pablo Grandjean rose to popularity in 2018, when he won the third season of X Factor Spain. In 2019, his first solo single was released along with a video, followed shortly by a self-titled EP. In 2020, he released a studio album and starred in the series Elite, in which he played a prince.

9. Maan

Maan de Steenwinkel is a singer and actress who rose to prominence after winning season six of The Voice. Her father is a television director for talk shows, and her mother worked as a teacher. In 2016, after winning The Voice, she released a song called Perfect World, which went gold and reached Top 40 in the Netherlands.

10. Maimoa

Maimoa was formed in 2016 by current and past presenters of the television show Pūkana, and debuted with the single Maimoatia, used to promote te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Maimoa was featured on the shows Voices of Our Future and Waiata Nation, which documented the creation of their debut album. Their single, "Wairua" reached number two on musician's sub chart, and became the fifteenth most popular song in New Zealand in 2017.

11. Ankhmaa

Ankhmaa Gankhuyag is a singer, actress, and producer born in April 1986. She graduated from college in 2001 as a pianist, and attended a university of arts and culture in 2007. She started her singing career in 2005 with her involvement in the band Three Girls, who released six albums and thirty music videos. Since 2019, she has been performing as a solo artist.

12. Hadise

Hadise Açıkgöz is a singer-songwriter, dancer, and television personality who became popular after the release of her debut single, Sweat, in 2005. The album earned her a TMF award and a butterfly award. In 2009, she represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest with her song Düm Tek Tek, which later earned Hadise her first number one single in Belgium and was followed with the release of two studio albums.

13. Dayang Nurfaizah

Dayang Nurfaizah binti Awang Dowty has released eleven studio albums, the first of which was released in 1999. The lead single on her debut album introduced her to the music industry. In 2006, she participated in a singing competition, in which she placed fourth.

14. Tatiana Bulonova

Tatiana Ivanovna Bulanova is recognized for her melancholic ballads and electropop beats. She started her singing career in 1990 while performing with the band Letniy Sad, which roughly translates to Summer Garden. Since 1996, she has released sixteen single albums, and was named a Meritorious Artist in Russia.

16. Rotting Christ

Rotting Christ was formed in 1987, and are now noted for being a premier act within the underground metal scene. They have faced backlash and controversy since their inception due to their name and style of music, and have been forced to cancel shows in Roman Catholic countries. In 2012, in celebration of the band's twenty fifth anniversary, a DVD and CD compilation about them was released worldwide. As of 2022, they have released thirteen full-length albums.

17. Sian

Sian is an all-girl band formed back in 2016 by Ellen MacDonald, Eilidh Cormack, and Ceitlin Lilidh. They originally came together at the Fèisean nan Gàidheal Festival to perform and celebrate songs by Scottish female artists. In 2018, they featured on Nitework's song, "Air Fàir an Là," which was originally a poem by Scottish poet Màiri nighean Alasdair Ruaidh.

18. Noa Kirel

Born in 2001, Noya Kirel is a singer, actress, and television host. She was born to Amir and Ilana Kirel and has two elder brothers, and her family is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. In 2015, Noa performed her first song on YouTube, which gained instant success. In 2016, she won an award for singer of the year at the kids' choice awards, after which she became the host of a musical program on kidZ channel. As of 2022, she is signed under Atlantic Records, and has released one album and twenty six singles.

19. Arakain

Formed in 1982 by former vocalist Aleš Brichta, Arakain is considered to be one of the most influential Czech bands, and they have released nineteen studio albums as of 2022. Despite performing small shows in the early eighties, they struggled to gain recognition until the mid-eighties due to the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. In 1987, they released their first album and played their first sold-out show.

20. Måneskin

Maneskin was formed in 2016 by vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio. In their early days, they performed in the streets, but gained popularity quickly after finishing second on X Factor in 2017. They have released two studio albums, as well as twelve singles, which have all topped charts in Europe. They have received thirty four platinum certifications and seven gold, selling more than one million albums throughout Italy.
