Victim of War
There was a loud whistle in his ear. The type that comes after loud noises or maybe strong hits, he couldn’t tell. Everything went completely blank, and then it was all darkness. His body was numb and cold. Without any choice in the matter, he went to sleep.

The Warehouse
Dawn was already just a couple of hours away, but destiny, in its cruelty, had not put any food in her belly yet. She moved deeper into the shadow and pressed against her brother’s side. With her right hand, she adjusted her cloak’s hood over her head, her other arm rested inside, an useless arm that reminded her of the price of failure. Before she could start to feel the nervousness, her older brother put a hand over her shoulders and a reassuring smile. As if that would not have been more than enough, he brought her face close to her ear and whispered, “I’ve got you”.

Caged
Infinity can usually be as big as you can make it. How far can your imagination extend the world around you is the real limit of the world. For a goldfish in a fishbowl, there are two possible worlds, it can be limited by the glass, or its mind can make it as big as it wants. Bigger even than whatever reality its senses can perceive.

Everything is so dark, I feel so tired, this darkness will be the same as the previous ones; I feel a tremor that runs through my entire body, causing me a chilling discomfort, from my feet to the ends of my hair. I wonder if Ágatha is going to come, what would I do without her, she has accompanied me since I have memories, that is, since I realized that I am not a being equal to all those around me. Now that I think about it, maybe Agatha came to me because she is also a unique being! Only in her have I seen those two majestic golden wings and those claws that could destroy everything, a fierce and tender being at the same time, because her eyes are two agathas that scream my girl I understand you, I will help you, you are not alone.

The Dragon
Thousands of years ago, so many that the world was still bare and empty. So long ago that the echo of creation could still be heard resounding against the rocks. Dust was just starting to settle across the land and the waters were still shaken. At that moment, before any evidence of the passing of time could be found, the Creator, alone in the world, saw it empty. He extended his arm to the world and touched it five times, once with each finger. The first four fingers created all the species and creatures that prowl the land. The last finger, that one he inserted into the deepest possible abyss, passing through fire and lava and going deeper until reaching the very heart of the world. With that touch a creature so great and powerful was born that it reigned over all the others. And all the others worshipped and called it god. Civilizations grew and customs were passed generation to generation and with time, the same Creator that gave life to all that was living was forgotten. He allowed it as there was peace in the world but then, the great creature that had been born last but was first among all went to sleep and people were without a leader. Civilization, united until then, started to divide and scatter, and soon, war was born. With war came death and hunger, and such a great sadness covered what once was blissful.

The King
“I’ll never surrender the city” claimed King Favian, more ferocious than convinced. The siege had gone for three months and winter was close. Provisions were already scarce and people were starting to turn to him, or more exactly, against him. The four men around him tried to look everywhere but at him. They had gone over this conversation every single day for a week now and no one had any idea how to survive. Originally, there had been five trusted generals at every war meeting, Prince Favian, the king’s firstborn, died after going out of the walls trying to negotiate a peace treaty with the invasor army. He left by the morning, and just when the sun reached its peak, his horse returned to the door, dead body on his back. A single wound on his back. The cowards.
