The woman, the rock and the tree
A dirty face, pale skin darkened by grime, the marks of dried tears decorating her cheeks as echoes of lost feelings. A shadow haunted her eyes, all light was gone from them, maybe hidden, maybe lost forever. A steady pace in rhythm but quivering under her own weight. Every step taking her closer to somewhere; that she hoped. Being somewhere is all you can do if you’re nowhere.

Dream
It was all black. Not specifically dark but absent of light, not quite but absent of sound. The space was infinite and null as the edges of reality were too blurry and changing. Time was there but not the one she knew. It passed, because she could move but even though she could see her hand waving in front of her face, she saw it slow as if deep below water surface, and still she felt time move fast.

Reflection
Fear is the easiest emotion to evoke. When writing, you need to create a strong connection between characters and readers them to feel happiness and joy. Sadness can be associated to personal experiences but how do you do it with people that can relate to specific situation. But fear, even the most fantastic situations can make a person tremble. Is it the survival instincts or just the desire for excitement? I don’t know and I don’t care.

Fallen from Heaven
Liam adjusted his noise-canceling headphones. Picking a big piece of scrap, its form lost many years before the coming, he threw it as far away as possible. His hands were bloody and dirty. He had already lost four fingernails. His sight was blurry from the tears and his breathing was heavy. He searched desperately, lifting and throwing pieces of metal, many of them with sharp edges that kept making cuts to his skin.

It was already night when I arrived. Storm was passed but the soil still showed the unequivocal signs of its strength. The leaves still carried a slim layer of water that reflected the subtle moonlight and bestowed upon the forest an otherworldly quality. There was no wind, everything was still and quiet. I didn’t notice that at first, we’re always busy paying attention to what we can perceive that we forget about what we’re missing. The forest was clearly unnatural, but, weary and irritable as I was, I just cared to be inside the cabin so I ignored every warning that waved in front of me.

The Magic of Absence
Wherever there is light, we can see. It is the light that enables us to interact in the world we live in. Building relationships and forming a society has been possible because the world is filled with light. The concept of what we see has always been easy to assimilate. We understand the world through everything our senses perceive. We see the Sun, pouring its immense power onto our world, and we comprehend how tiny we are beneath it. We feel the rain falling incessantly, and we hear its tireless rumbling on the many surfaces that dare to challenge it, thus understanding the true value of patience. We don't merely nourish ourselves to satisfy hunger; we seek to please our taste buds in every meal, and even before that, our sense of smell, which skillfully describes the future that awaits our taste buds.

THE FUTURE WE CREATE
With a wave of his hand, the apparently empty air in front of him, turn into light. Light arranged itself and suddenly he was thousands of kilometers away. His empty room was a great hall filled with people from all over the world. He was not alone but surrounded by his friends. All of them, alone at home, and together very far away.
