The Grief of Loss and Understanding Death
I sadly had to face an inevitable amount of loss within my family circle between 2020 and 2021. It started with my step-father passing away from an unexpected heart attack at the beginning of January, leading me to experience my first true plight with death as this was somebody I had known for a strong portion of my teenage years. Heck, he had married my mother two years prior. Being naive and stuck in the beginning of a worldwide pandemic, I put it on the back burner and tried to reel my mind away from the thoughts of loss and death and instead towards video games and a disheartening and difficult alcohol addiction that would take years to finally control.

5 Obscure Musicians Who Deserve So Much More
I love listening to random songs that pop up unexpectedly in my YouTube Music library. Good moods will enforce me to listen to some giddy pop tune, embellishing a sense of "feel good attitude" that comes from such songs as "Shower" by Becky G or "Oh No" by Marina and the Diamonds. If I'm feeling more grim, complacent on writing a gritty piece of work or embracing more turned up relics of my nature, I'll blast "Still Livin'" by Freddie Gibbs or "rockstar" by Post Malone. Either way, music is such a beautiful way to embrace the inner parts of our internal moods in an outward way, expressing vocalization of our interpersonal selves.

Traveling on A Budget - A Last Minute Vacation to the Oregon Coast
When I found out that a musician's last concert of his tour was to be taking place (only) nine hundred and some plus miles from my home, I took a risk and bought those tickets, not realizing that an upcoming loan payment and inevitable negative housing situation would soon follow. But still being here and able to reflect on that once in a lifetime, weekend, strict budgeted vacation with such fondness now, it made me realize that money doesn't always matter in this world - it helps, don't get me wrong. But traveling on a budget can really help you garner a sense of respect and gratitude for the things we do have on this beautiful planet that don't require money to find a sense of fun within.

How Korean Pop Music Is Making an Influence in America
I have been a follower of Korean Pop (more commonly referred to as "K-Pop") for a little over a year now, and little did I know that it would make an image for itself in our country. With the popular K-Pop boy group BTS receiving two gold singles from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and being seen on numerous televisions everywhere (from being at the Billboard Music Awards, to The Ellen DeGeneres Show), it is pretty amazing to see some Asian foreigners earning the attention they rightfully deserve.
