Chapter One They are taking their time killing her. She feels her life slowly slipping away as they work up and down her body with their boots. It would have been embarrassing if it wasn't so depressing. She was going to die in a back alley on this stupid world all because she let her guard down. She thought she was safe here, that they couldn't travel. Or at least they weren't able to pass themselves off as human well enough for the transition to be worth making.

Book Review: 'A Land Like You' Tobie Nathan
In A Land Like You, published by Seagull Books, author Tobie Nathan takes us to an Egypt that will be unfamiliar to most readers. First the book is told mainly from the perspective of Cairo's Jewish community and secondly the events described take place roughly from the end of WWI to the early years of WWII.

Book Review: 'The Wintermen lll by Brit Griffin
The Wintermen lll: At The End of the World by Brit Griffin, from by Latitude 46 publishing, is the third instalment, and conclusion, of the author's dystopian climate change science fiction series. Set in the vicinity of Cobalt, Ontario Canada, which for those that don't know is in the northern part of the province, it depicts a world where the climate is so out of whack North America is locked in perpetual winter.
