Hometown New York City Brooklyn
For people living in small to mid-size hometowns, it is easy to write about their towns. However, for someone like me who was born and raised in New York City, it is rather difficult. Therefore I will look upon the borough of Brooklyn as my small town away from the teeming streets of Manhattan and the other boroughs. If you know about Brooklyn and find a neighborhood missing it is just that I wrote about all the ones I knew and where I have been. I was born in a very quiet corner of Brooklyn called Bay Ridge so I began my tour there. Then came the neighborhood of Bensonhurst. BoCoCa refers to three Brooklyn neighborhoods – Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, and Carroll Gardens. BoCoCa is an umbrella term for the small region of Brooklyn located south and southwest of Downtown Brooklyn. As I continue I will paste the links for the neighborhoods I have written about below.

That Feeling of Vizbulation
She sat looking through her old photos, a treasure trove of memories before her. Playing the songs they once enjoyed together, her mood was on a downswing and her feet just wanted to stray down Memory Lane. Suddenly seemingly from nowhere, vizbulation took over and it seemed the rock that had been sitting in her chest rolled off. Her ever-faithful heart had kept beating but now it leapt with joy. She just knew that as of today everything would be all right again. She looked at the photo of Tom in her hand. There he was smiling and waving like always and she knew that when her life’s journey ended he would be there to greet her looking just like in that photo. Till then she had a life to live. She had been given the chance to do the things she needed to do and the things that she enjoyed doing. Looking out the window for the first time in a long time the sun looked good again and the trees resplendent in their gowns of green with leaves waving in the breeze. A particularly special song began to play and she sat back with a big smile basking in the glow of vizbulation, for now, that was all that mattered.

One Hit Wonders of Yesteryear Part One
Another little series this one about one-hit wonders. It is surprising to note that all of these songs are memorable but just had their one shining moment for the artists and no other great hits followed. This is the first post in this series. I will add the links below as I go along.

The Haunted Movie Theaters of Hollywood
It seems that spirits or ghosts seem to enjoy not only the theater but also watching movies. Many of these ghosts have chosen to haunt Hollywood movie theaters. They can be former actors or actresses or even staff members of the theaters.
